- We take a look at my new M416 Military Trailer. In this video, I show the progress so far in the build. I am going to restore and convert it into an overlanding off-road trailer. I show you the ladder rack, clamps, ARB awning, custom FJ decals. etc. This will be a series of videos leading up to Overland East.

That’s a nice clean trailer. Definitely looks military. Box and stickers look really good. Me personally I’d build a lid for it but that’s looks awesome also and like u said not limited to utility use.
Absolutely one heck of a job! I really like it and I want it...it matches my silver truck with silver camper shell. It's just what I need. Great job brother.
Remarkable job! Congrats!
I was gonna weld on a rack but I like the idea of it not being permanent. Do you think the rack would support both a kayak and a canoe at the same time?
Yes it would hold both. Just look at the weight rating for the rack you buy.
@@GunsandGearNetwork can you post the link for the clamps please
LOOKING GOOD BROTHER.
Do you know what the ladder rack system is called. I used your link and no product is available.
Are you doing a tent? If so you need the ones without the upright extensions. If doing a tent you need this. www.amazon.com/TMS-Universal-Ladder-Contractor-Utility/dp/B0716L9MTJ/ref=sr_1_24?dchild=1&keywords=ladder+rack&qid=1623887472&s=automotive&sr=1-24
I was thinking that the awning system could probably hold and actual tent, ya' think?
Rated for 650 LBS so I would think it would work well. Just make sure that the width is correct for the particular tent you have or buying.
So maybe you could have used those corner plates on all four.
Couldn't you just have the ladder racks arching out and not have to cut the 3" off? \ /
No, will not fit.
