He’s right, especially in fnaf animation it’s like the body is on a floor with holes the legs go through. I can’t explain it well but it usually feels weightless.
The gist of it was: movement comes from making a character start falling and finding a way to make them regain their balance. Like if you lean forward with your whole body like Michael Jackson, your natural reaction when you fall too far is to stick out your foot so your face doesn’t slam into the ground.
