Great review. I purchased my first TB, a Brain Bag, in 2002. That bag long ago left my collection… a fact I remedied this afternoon. I don’t know how often I’ll use it, but I’m excited to have one back in the fold.
Do you think SYNIK 30 will work for a teacher's EDC? I typically carry 6-8 dry-erase markers, 2 pouches of small dice (20 d6 20 d10), two pouches of misc stuff probably both can fit in one snake charmer, a set of pens and highlighters, a laptop, and accessories for it. The bag I'm currently using does not allow me to pack some additional stuff I want to carry. I want to add a change of clothes and gym sneakers for obvious purposes.
Maybe? You’d have to check on the size of your laptop compared to the computer sleeve in the Synik 30, for one. Your gym shoes I think could be the other limiter. (But unless you have a huge laptop, all that would fit in the Brain Bag, but it’s something like 8L larger than a Synik 30).
This was super helpful, especially with all of the comparisons!
