The ballloon tires and soft suspension wobbly feeling just not tipping over in corners.

Jan Christian Frodahl That’s the reason why i slowed to half. Truck looks heavier and more scale than normal speed.
Impressive driving, and impressive terrain roadworthiness demonstrated here by the TRX-4, only a good suspension setup with generous wheel travel, correctly sprung coil springs and shocks, keep this somewhat topheavy trailtruck from rolling over in every corner at this speed. A very nice entry into the trailtruck/crawler segment from Traxxas.
Very desireable with the selective lockable differensials, two speed transmission and portal axles, with all metal gears. 500$ is not bad with all the features, including cruise control (!).

Easy fix. You can get one of those Traxxas mine batteries and they fit without mods. Also. The body is really heavy so change it.

I had one in my hands yesterday and I liked it a lot. Love the axles as long as the gears in the hub area hold up. I don’t see changing the spur gear but may be able to change the pinion so that kinda stinks. The locking/unlozckimg diffs are cool but not needed imo. Traxxas ends up being what I buy. Other than my wraith. Can free-mod the hell out of them and with some y’all shocks go anywhere. I would change the motor or get a back up with about 35t immediately. In my experience those low turn brushed motors want to spin fast not hold the rig still at 0 rpm between working a line way up a steep incline. Cool truck though. Nice to see it in action. Wanna see the diff lock demonstrated.
Ztwntyn8 there is an underdrive ring and pinion set you can install in the diffs .... stock ratio is 3.09:1 the underdrives are 3.50:1 ... plus you have the gear reduction with portal axels ... plus low/high range trans.... trust me with 3s lipo plenty of torque .. plus they look fantastic 😎 hope my info helps
