Grew up in Carroll Gardens, when it was originally part of Red Hook...in the 50s, 60s and 70's. The area will always be a part of my life and my memories. Wonderful place to live, learn and appreciate the ups and downs of my neighbors l, friends and family. Thank you for such a wonderful walk down memory lane.

Hello sir. I wanted to let you know my godfather Vinnie Costellano passed away. He loved your stream and now I watch it as a remembrance for him. Thank you

Oh my! I am so sorry to hear this and so sorry for your loss! Vinnie was a great person and I enjoyed speaking with him in the chat each night. Vinnie will be missed by everyone in the W&WS community. Wishing you and your family peace during this time.

@WalksWallStreet Thank you, sir, that means so much to hear. He enjoyed your stream, as do I. Perhaps you could mention his name on your next livestream? Thanks again

I had a chance to walk by the Murray Hill/Kips Bay area this past week. The waterfront by Waterside Plaza is really nice where you get to see the Queens and Brooklyn waterfronts. Hope they make further improvements to it.

Born and raised in that neighborhood. Born in 1950 and moved out in 1995. It was great in the 50’ and 60’s.

Jeez Brooklyn is so unrecognizable. I remember no tall buildings downtown and the majority of store was small business and moms and pops shops now is corporate america everywhere.

This area looks more like a small-town feel which I could live there.

It’s a secret of NYC that even other New Yorkers or people in the suburbs don’t know about
