There are projects where our team can really have fun pushing the limits of VFX and gore...and Stranger Things 3 was definitely one of them. Yvon Jardel, Animation Supervisor on the show, tells us how animation was used to turn rats into goop, and then goop into monster. A weird process that involved some fun tests in our Live Action studio, explosions, various skin textures and even scaring the actors on set.
