    Hi Mari & Nick, excellent video. The cicadas there sound like the ones we have3 here in Melbourne. They get extra loud here during the summer. The farmer's market looks awesome. Those sandwiches look like they have everything included. Incidentally, did you know they have potato sandwiches in Ireland? So far, I have never seen one, but I might try one to see what it tastes like. We will need to make our own, as I don't think I have heard of them here in Australia. Certainly different. What train line did you cross there? Anyway, take care and all the best. Robert.

      Hi Mari, okay, if I get around to making any potato sandwiches, I will keep a spare lot for you to try. I wonder if anyone can get into the Guinness Book of Records for eating potato sandwiches in the Southern Hemisphere? LOL. Apparently, there are three sorts of potato sandwiches; some contain hot chips, some contain boiled or mashed potato and others contain crisps. The third type may provide a bit of a challenge to say the least. Once we have achieved this, we can up the scale by trying ice cream sandwiches, keeping in mind to not mix it with the potatoes!!! LOL. Take care, Robert.

    cool video. That market is right next to my house. As far as markets go it is really expensive though. Try on Sunday at the riccarton racecourse. It's huge and a lot cheaper if your looking to snag a bargin! :)

    Mari did you buy some sort of stabilizer or find the stabilizing feature in the editing program ? because some of the handheld shots are nice and smooth.
    One of my favorite parts or editing is discovering new features and plug ins for my videos.

    I love Christchurch. But after the earthquakes, my family is a bit unsure about moving there. How to convince them that is ok?

    which is the best city to settle in NZ? Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch??

    • @mari.johnson
      @mari.johnson  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It just depends what kind of atmosphere you want. Auckland is the biggest city and has the most going on. Wellington is pretty cool with a lot of good restaurants and stuff. Christchurch is a smaller, quieter city with a lot of scenic places nearby. There's a lot of smaller towns and cities in NZ that are awesome too. Might just depends where you find a job! :)
