Wow, I've been analyzing pitching recently as my kid is playing in LL. And I also have bad arms from prior injuries. And this is right in line with what I was thinking. The past few days I've been analyzing Nolan Ryan's form, trying to understand how he had so much longevity without much injury, as compared to the ever increasing injuries resulting in Tommy John surgery.

Was he able to pitch with that elbow without having Tommy John ?
