Honestly, I played through the game and it genuinely should've not been $60 plus whatever the digital deluxe was (which for a very limited time could be grabbed for free cause they fucked up the steam page and set all the DLC to free). It was a really bad decision to make the bosses have huge windows of invincibility and for some infamous ones to have 1-Hit-KO moves.
I knew theyve played a lot of sonic games but jesus christ.. corey really does have a furry and sonic obsession. I think the years long theory by chris of sonic being the birth of autism is stronger than ever.

Instead of just saying that they don’t like something a lot of people will try to be correct and come up with inane reasons why the entire game is actually bad. Sonic in particular is a franchise where a lot of games are beloved despite having major objective flaws but has a really strong emotional connection with people anyway.
21:22 Tomar is onto something here. Like SATAM has SO MUCH potential to be a good game if they ported it properly. Like it could be an open world where you're running around saving various people or going to Robotnik's facilities and wrecking them like in the show. They could even incorporate the other characters like Dulcy to be a fast travel or Rotor/Tails as a tech shop where you can buy gadgets. Would love to see something like this one day, can only hope though.
The thing is that Cory is super incompetent. Like, this game is easy a little bit of focus would have created a completely enjoyable experience instead of getting angry whenever any focus is required. Sonic Heroes was absolutely dogshit, though.
