❗DISCLAIMER - I MOSTLY show modcombos running on a Snapdragon 865+/888+ and a 8/16gb ram phone . That's High End Hardware . If you have a mid or low end device it's absolutely possible those mod combos I show will run extremely slow or won't even start .
that's not an issue with the APP . You NEED high end hardware to run these mods on mobile at 50% resolution . Even I can't run them at 100% with all the mods and add-ons I use .❗

Look, i'm gonna be frank. I don't wanna be a A-hole here but was there any point to adding all this reshader goop, because honestly it looks absolutely horrible.
The textures which looked horrible with the Upscaler and HD texture mods you usually use now look even worse with the texture filtering you no doubt use in GZdoom.
I get you want to push your phone to the absolute limits by cramming as much Hi-Res stuff as you possibly can into the game "Hell it's enough to make some PC's beg for mercy" but there's a point where all the graphical mods, filtering, reshading all turns things into this brackish, dull and saturated mess.
The gameplay mod is fine, just ease up on all the Graphical addons.

You're right. I'm absolutely in love with these shaders.
In this one I didn't even use that much.. so I wonder what you mean.
Which one you don't like ? Maybe I f.. up some saturations settings?

​@@AndroidFerret The colour saturation in general looks off, things either looks too bright or too dark. not sure if it's a setting you can tweak for further videos or not.
As for my complaints regarding the graphical enhancers, I'm referring to your content in general. you make use of rather unnecessary graphical enhancers for a game that frankly doesn't not need it.
But for this video, i think the use of the "Low Res Textures" mod combined with your texture filtering settings for GZDoom itself makes it all feel like the walls/floors are almost one solid colour. almost like doomguy is trying to fight demons without his prescription glasses.

Don't need it is absolutely subjective.
I need them. I love them and I want to use them cause someone made them for that purpose.

I literally had this argument with at least 5 people over the time.
I see it like this:
Doom 2 is, cause of millions of amazing people who spend their time and energy to create the craziest retro shooter experiences imaginable for us for free, the best Retro FPS of all time for me. And, most importantly, one of the games which don't have something like an "intended way to play".
That's over a long time ago. Now it's a GMOD alternative where you have a sandbox and a drag and drop system for all the millions of add-ons and mods you can download for free.
Want to have BULLETTIME, slide or walljumps? Here you go..
Want the game to look like it's played on C64 ? Bamm..2 Button presses and you're set.
To hard? Too easy? Too fast? All that can be changed?
And all the people playing mods without add-ons are limiting themselves to a lower quality experience. Why would I use no dynamic lighting when I can HAVE dynamic lighting?
Easy as that.
And again. If people don't like it. That's absolutely fine by me. I don't hate them for that. Why would I?
The next one who sees it might like it.

Yes "Don't Need it" is indeed subjective but there is a Fine line between indulgence and excess.. and yes someone did make those addons/mods for a purpose.
but to say you need every single one of them active at the same time is pretty damn whack if you ask me.
Especially since in this case it looks like the protagonist in their POV has got cataracts in their eyes or their helmet lens has been smeared with copius amounts of grease.
but the stuff after that is a whole different tangent entirely.

At no point with my comments in this channel i've made no arguements against playing mods and the odd addon like Nashgore or a Flashlight mod, and has nothing to do with this topic at hand.
Rather my critique was about the excessive amount of graphics mods you choose to use on a regular basis.
And the "5 people who argued with you", even though I say it could easily quadruple that wherever on the Zdoom Forums "on one of my friends mod page's no less" or in your own comments section do have valid points. yet your reactions to them and to this comment right now make you sound very insecure about things, or at least display an inability to take constructive criticism.. all because a Fellow Doom youtuber "Rightfully IMO" called you out in stuff.
I didn't even touch on the aspects those other people calling you out were talking about. "Like the AI, the use of scantily clad ladies in mods that feature no female protagonist, the clickbaity thumbnails, ect".. as those while a bit annoying personally were not the issue I'm most concerned with rather the fact that 90% of your videos look like they were filmed and edited using windows movie maker with the saturation setting turned up to max like those old mid 00's Mario youtube poops.

I seem to recall you trying to jump in my own comment section on one of my own videos a few months ago trying to preach this particular way of thinking, because "without those graphic addons IT LOOKS old". to that I severely disagree with your statement. OVERWHELMINGLY SO.
To that I'll reiterate my own point from there -
"Because texture mods make it look even worse "especially the ultra hd ones" and graphics addons tank the framerate during cruicial fights. Sprite smoothing in this case makes it look like everything is smeared in clear jello.
Reshade under most circumstances washes out most colours making it look more dull in comparison.
The only graphical options i do keep is minor sector lighting and the bloom effect in GZdoom other than that it's fine.. the brutal doom map enhancements do get me where i want to in the effects department too. Just minor things like lava glowing."
Graphics mods are fine, but Overuse of them isn't and that actually makes for a lower quality experience for both viewer and player. Just because all these mods, addons and tweaks exist doesn't mean you have to use every single one of them at once.
to end this, yes If people do not like it then they can simply move on. but I guess is no-one speaks out against the problem then it's allowed to persist further.
To think this was originally about how I felt the colour saturation looked off in the vid and how the textures look so muddy that it might as well be a single colour flat texture from 1990.
