Among our favourite sites near towns or villages are, Pinewoods Wells-next-the-sea, CAMC sites Hawes, Barnard Castle, Wharfedale (Grassington), Tewkesbury and Cirencester. CACC sites Salisbury, Beadnell, we also plan to visit Keswick and Bowness on Windermere this month and both are walking distance into town. There are so many lovely sites near towns. We have a 6.36m Fiat Ducato which we love, large U shaped lounge which converts to super king size bed but I really like your Sven Hedin. Thanks for sharing the Sutton site. We have friends in Alford and have visited Sutton and Hutoft beaches. Sadly the Woodall Spa site we stayed at last year was too far to walk but we managed to park in town no problem. Thanks for sharing a great video.

Was at that site in July 2024 , just opposite your pitch!!! . Great place to stay . Sutton on Sea is of a Victorian picture postcard era , but if you want the hustle n bustle Skegness and Mablethorpe are not far away , as a child we had a place there went for many weekends away with grandparents so holds a special place in my heart .
Highly recommend. And will be going back in 2025 when the Colonnade is finished . Great video as usual. Keep up the good work guys.

Interesting site review, without the sense of crowding on some sites in summer.
We have just returned from 5 nights on a CCC 5 pitch Certified Site at Flamborough.
Fantastic cliff walks around Flamborough, 15min walk to town pubs and nearest beach. Bus stop outside the site
Delightfully peaceful after a large independent family site near Bournemouth with families chatting late into the evening and children charging around

Hi Will and Sarah, thanks for the video- we always enjoy seeing different places to visit (especially with good coffee and good beer!) A town with a campsite very close by is Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire CAMC site, next to the Abbey. Not huge but very close to the gtown which is a lovely town to visit 😊

Our favourite is Mablethorpe and Campervan site on Chapel Lane. Easy walking into Mablethorpe. Beach better etc. Cheers from George and Jane.

Hello, This is going to be our third video of yours. Loving it and enjoying every bit of it. We are travelling to the UK either in October or November this year. The plan is to survey for a van similar to yours. Can we catch up when we are in the UK. We were in the UK for 20 years and than decided to move to India. But now we would like to explore the entire UK, Europe, Scandinavian countries and IceLand. All the best to both of you.

Hi Will and Sarah - just saw your vlog/review as have booked to go to Sutton on Sea CAMC ( member free night offer from the CAMC) - I live near Melton Mowbray so it’s about 90 mins away - been many times to Sutton as a child - grandparents had a caravan at nearby Huttoft - can definitely recommend Olcote Farm as my favourite CL- Chris and Wendy the owners are lovely. Dogs on leads but the field is huge! There is actually a freedom field for off lead dog exercise across the road. There is a quiet road down to Huttoft Car Terrace which is free to park in the winter - in the summer it’s often busy/paid parking and they restrict van size to 6m I think. It’s a great place to park for a brew and a dog walk as you park next to the beach. If you haven’t been I also recommend Woodhall Spa as a village to stop off at (45 mins inland from Sutton) - free/donations welcome parking at jubilee park which is also an Aire, loads of independent shops, cafes, Kinema in the Woods (1920s cinema), Petwood House Hotel history from RAF Dambusters 617 squadron - loads of history in the area . Happy travels!

Love Sutton, it’s our go to place even though Cleethorpes is on our doorstep. Lovely big beach which is never overly busy and a lot calmer than neighbouring resorts. Great video 😊

    Hi, Will & Sarah.
I can highly recommend Woodclose Caravan Park at Kirkby Lonsdale; excellent facilities and only 10 minutes walk to the town where there are plenty of nice pubs shops and places to eat and even a brewery.
Loving the videos and tips ,

We like the Heathfield site at Pateley bridge - fan shower block - all brand new. Much better than the CMC site down the road. Pateley bridge is also lovely. 😊

      Hi! It's a Bellman CX-25P - www.bellmancoffee.co.uk/collections/bellman-range/products/bellman-cx25-p
It's not cheap, but it's fantastic quality and if you have the time and patience for it you get the best possible camping coffee possible!

There is a nice walk round the back of site that goes over farm land that comes out at the beach. We use it a lot as we have 5 dogs better than walking on the pavement to beach. I like they have put in a dog area, as they used to be funny about dogs on site you had to go of site even in a morning when dogs need a wee. One year they had very funny wardens with the dogs. Most years the wardens were good.

There was a lovely friendly warden when we visited, and he suggested because of the weather not to use the path across the field at that point due to lots of midges!

Enjoyed the video. Maybe try Jasmin camping next time (close or next door to the CAMC site I believe) adult only but no showers or toilets - both are on my list of sites to visit as only an hour away🙂

I’ve only stayed at one club site and wasn’t overly impressed. I don’t think there are that many club sites near me so haven’t bothered with signing up for membership.
Do you guys select club sites over others and what do you think they offer over non-club sites?

Driving with both hands off the wheel looking at the camera rather than the road is not a good idea.
I know you see it done on BBC etc but they are actually being towed by a camera truck.

Forgot to mention. Beach is excellent if you like sand. BORING. There's no Cliffs or fishing boats. No hills or woodland to walk in. Our favourite is Cromer. Woodhill Park Cromer. Last time we paid £18 per night. Special offer. 2 people electric hard standing. Video on our channel etc. George
