    Just made this with a center drilled sunstone faceted stone. Had to improvise but I think it came out nicely...

    Wonderful tutorial! The one thing I would have liked is knowing where to start on th base wires. Other than that it's clear and very easy to follow

    I just happened upon this tutorial. I am just beginning "again". I did a shell once LONG time ago. BUT, I had bought 3 of the most amazing wire wrapped pieces at a Gem and Jewelry show in Houston many years ago. Two were stones and the other was an actual Silver Dollar coin. What drew me to his booth was the way they were wire wrapped. I had never seen that before. I went back to find him in a subsequent year and he was GONE! I never found him again. He did his stones JUST LIKE THIS! I had always wondered how on earth he did it. Now I know and I'm going to try to recreate this on some of the stones I just got. I'm just watching video tutorials now so that I don't mess up, but I am going to practice this. I think it's the most beautiful way to wrap stones. Thank you so much for posting this!!!

    Wow. All your art is gorgeous. You came up in my feed a few months ago which brings me to an important point. Subscribe to all you like. It only enhances your algorithm. I started 3 years ago with Lan Handmade and I barely had any tutorials in my feed. I now have at least 60 tutorials and 3 to 5 jewelry tuts come up daily. It doesn’t hurt anyone to subscribe plus it’s the best way to help the artist grow her channel. And I want to tell you I am learning more great stuff from you and the way you flare which is a look I simply Love . Thanks for all your hard work and I’m a daily learner on your channel now. Maybe one day I’ll be a sixteenth as good as you Happy wraps.

      I'm glad you like it! I love the traditional frames... they're clean and secure. I'm hoping that Novembers tutorials give us a new way to see that frame. 💖💖

    Very nice video. Really well done. I've watched many tutorials and you kept everything right in view which is so important when working with such detail. Like how long you leave the side notes in place so we can watch and get important info without backing up. 👌
    Thanks for sharing your talent.

    Beautiful ❤️🇩🇰 Can I use the same design on a thicker stone?

    • @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry
      @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Hard to say without seeing the stone, but if it's only slightly thicker, 1mm let's say, then you could probably get away with the same wrap without too much modification... you'll maybe have to pull those tabs out farther... this is a very tight wrap, so if the stone varies more than that, you might add a wire and use 5 rather than 4 wires to start. The upper must wire that holds the stone in, needs to make it over the shoulders of your Stone, else the stone can slip out the front. Look at a few different frames before you decide, there are many ways to wrap a thick stone, some better than others. Thanks again! I hope this was helpful.
