Must have been a very early 1st Gen installation from the 40s. Notice it says 'EXPRESS SMS LIFTS' which suggests that this was one of the first Express lifts installed.
LiftyGamez Really? Wow! I didn’t think it was from the 40s! I thought it was maybe the 60s. It’s in very good condition for it’s age. Probably due to lack of use. Thanks for your comment. :-)
Yes, it is definitely a replacement of some sort. The button is not actually functional though. My guess is that it was originally the alarm button, but they moved the alarm button down to the bottom so that it is more reachable.

That metallic button at 0:21 is definitely a replacement from an older one, so this lift has received a modification

I love this lift. I’m not ‘allowed’ to ride it any more as the staff are complaining about me using it
Wonder if the place will ever be reopened and the lift will be kept how it is?
I really hope so!
This place is sadly now permanently closed :(
Such a shame
:-(
Hopefully the lift will survive whatever happens to the building.
@@Lift.Tracker Shame*, yes I do hope it stays
Does the lift still exist?
I don’t know, but probably
