Hello team , Thanks for your video on hdfc and hdfc bank merger I have a doubt on it:- If conversion ratio is 25 to 42 then why hdfc Ltd is always at a discount of 3 to 3.6 percent from the ratio mentioned above for example current price of hdfc bank is 1464 . So by calculation hdfc limited must be 1464*42/25 = 2422 but it's trading at 2371 ?
If i hold 25 shares of hdfc ltd then i will get 42 shares of hdfc bank. So if i have x shares of hdfc ltd then i receive x*42/25 share of hdfc bank. If that number is not an integer then i receive the integer number of shares and i receive money for the fractional part. Eg. If the number is 5.78 then i get 5 shares of hdfc bank and will get money for the 0.78 shares. Is this information correct?
Nothing. Zero . For every 25 HDFC Ltd , 42 HDFC Bank. That means if you would have 25 HDFC Ltd share you would have get 42. And if you would have any no. of shares between 26 to 49 , still you would have get 42 HDFC Bank shares.

Today's trading amount is not showing in my demat account after selling
