    Hey do you still have the knife? I would love to see another update! I just ordered one myself. The only down side i see is the non reversible clip being g left handed but I think I'll pull the clip off and carry it in my pocket.

      Hey just to let you know being a left-hander myself, I actually find that it works better for a left-handed person because the trigger of the knife faces the back of the pocket so your hand doesn't try to push on it when you put your hand in your pocket.

    I've had mine for 2 and a half years now. The double edged dagger with partial serrations on one side. Never had an issue with it besides a penny getting stuck in between the blade and case which is now in any way the knifes fault. Couldn't afford one of the nice $200+ ones at the time and I'm glad I didn't splurge. This is my fav pocket knife that I have. I also carry an Esse 4 tac but my $25 lightning is what I pull out most. Best $25 I've ever spent.

    Dude that looks sick!! I have a yellow one that I’ve had for about a year and a half. Looks close to yours but the edges aren’t so uniform. I had to retire it though because I stabbed through too much cardboard and the slide is worn down and the detents don’t work so well😞 it was a sad day lol

    I would say that you are very lucky, or I am very unlucky. I bought 3 of them for Christmas presents two years ago and 2 out of 3 the blades would disengage when retracting. I tried emailing them but never got a reply. Since this video reminded me of it, I pulled mine out of my knife roll just to try it. Sure enough it fails to retract correctly about 70% of the time.

      william miller did you oil it? Open it up and clean it? It is very susceptible to dirt and lint.

      Just clean all the moving parts with wd40 and wipe it clean. OTF's don't really need oil, maybe just a little less than a drop on the slide.

    Pretty amazing.. $35 gets you a lot of (cool) knife here on the Lightning Elite. AKC F-20 is another great budget OTF but costs $60.

    So I've watched a lot of videos on the Lightning OTF but the only thing you guys do is fire and retract the blade.
    Stab something. Cut something. Use the damn thing. I don't get reviews that just TALK about what it can do but don't SHOW what it can do.
    How hard can you stab something? How much force can you put on the blade? Otherwise this review is useless just like all the rest of the videos that don't show it in use. I buy knives to use, not play with.

    • @dancrumbo5922

    • @tamatoa8261
      @tamatoa8261 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dancrumbo5922 one of the main reasons I watch knife reviews is because it helps me to decide if I'm going to buy the knife. And because I actually use my knives, I like to see them in action. 🤙🏾

    • @MrJamesabernathy
      @MrJamesabernathy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can stab as hard as you want to. Just don't expect to put the knife up to something thumb the switch and expect it to penetrate more than an 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Other than that best cheap knife I've ever bought
