I’m obsessed with the glow formula. Feels so so light like I’m wearing NOTHING! Provides light coverage and healthy glow.
Now that I finished the video. I'm totally going to try the new version. I'm all about a light coverage because it just makes be look younger and I loathe the idea of anyone catching me looking mask-y. But, I'm totally buying the Glow today!

The OG felt a little heavy on my skin so I’d like to try this new version! It looks beautiful on you! Might try to see if Sephora has it in store for a sample during the sale. The matte version sounds really nice too! 💜
I’ve never liked the original CC cream because it is just too heavy on me. I like less coverage but still with serious hydration. I just might try this one.
I agree with you on the coverage. I’m 51 and don’t have deep wrinkles, just a few fine lines. I tried this with and without Tarte hydrating primer. Worked better without it. I used a beauty blender the 1st wear and the IT brush that came with it the 2nd wear which also worked better as far as leaving more coverage. I like the other CC creams from IT cosmetics better as well. You don’t even need concealer with the matte except a little under eye. I didn’t feel like this dries down well even with powder and All Nighter setting spray. I have to wear a mask all day in the dental field, and this doesn’t hold up like the matte CC cream. I think the smell on this isn’t great and even though it looks pretty good at first, I’d it’s hot or humid, this is going to melt right off defeating the sunscreen feature. I don’t think I’d recommend this for oily skin either. I think it would separate quickly in oily patches. It certainly is okay, but if are a fan of the other CC creams, I’d say don’t bother with this. Just get better skincare products for hydration and use the matte or illuminating creams.
Thank you for this review and the comparisons! I'm coming back around to It Cosmetics. I haven't found anything better than the Confidence in a Cream moisturizer (anything better that's cruelty free anyway), and I'm OBSESSED with the nighttime version. As I use up my skincare and makeup products, I find myself purchasing replacements from It Cosmetics. I have mild rosacea, large pores, texture, dry skin, I'm 41-it's the perfect brand for my needs.
Agreed! I think a lot of their skincare is underrated! I bet it would get more buzz if they had more fragrance free options.
Hi Lauren…I just got the Nude Glow yesterday and can’t wait to try it! I like a lot of It Cosmetics skincare; the cleansing balm, cleanser, Secret Sauce. I have no yuck factor with snails 🐌🤣. Great video as always 🥰🌹
I just tried it and it rolled up/peeled off over the top of my moisturizer. I had to wash it off and start over with no moisturizer. It had basically no coverage, was just like a skin tint and it sunk into my deep wrinkle between the brows and the slight wrinkles under my eyes. Even after I used the bye bye pores setting powder that always prevents settling, it settled. It also felt like it didn’t last long. Looked good at first but a couple hours later it looked like I had nothing on. Tomorrow I will attempt it again and try to build it up more. I think I may like it during the summer once I get a tan for a no make up look.
I didn’t love this like their other CC creams. I think it works better with a very light moisturiser and no primer but it never set even with powder and setting spray. I think I might return and get the matte.

This looked really good at start but the fact that it is now it had chemical sunscreen filters is a big no for me, and also the fragrance. I'll be sticking to the ELF one for those reasons. I wish they at least removed the fragrance as most foundations other than maybe Dior or something aren't using fragrance anymore
I honestly didn’t notice a scent. I had to go back to smell it and it has the faintest lemon cookie smell that fades immediately.

I am glad that you pointed out the fact that the illumination one has literal shimmers in it. I disliked it so much that I couldn’t even finish it.
Oh goody! I was really looking for a comparison of these. I prefer higher coverage because I need it but this sounds amazing for younger people.
This new formula is my favorite that I’ve ever used I like the light natural coverage

I prefer the original but the lightest shade is still too dark for me. Hoping they’ll extend the shade range in it too!

@@thehonestbeautyreview I’m loving my Olaplex too! And I was wondering about this No.9…..I didn’t much care for “0” or “8” - they just didn’t do much for me but I love everything else! I do highly recommend the Bumble and Bumble Invisible Hair Primer- holy moly. Leaves my hair like silk - no joke and the bottle is huge and lasts forever🥰.
I agree with everything you said. Love this. BUT the chemical sunscreen burns my eyes like hades. That’s on me. I should have paid more attention. I’ll try again and try to keep it far from eyes and see what happens. Honestly I wish they would just leave the sunscreen out. We’re all pretty educated on sunscreen use and know not to depend on sunscreen in foundation. You could never use enough to get a true spf 40. Great review. Thanks.
They add sunscreen bc it’s cheaper… basically the new version is L’Oréal bastardizing the original. Expect it to eventually be worthless. Seems they are taking all the expensive ingredients but great products off the market. They are going for higher profit margins at the cost of our skin basically.

I loved CC creams until I started Retin A. I’m too flaky most of the time for it. Powdered foundation works better with flakiness

If I am not wrong, in another video you were saying illuminating is your fav and the original one is the second. But probably it changed. Now the original one is the top of the list. Lots of love
I'm interested in this, but I just bought my second tube of Loreal Age Perfect serum foundation, so I don't need another foundation right now. I've been happy with the Loreal too, it's SPF 50 & only $17.

I am a light-medium coverage gal so I was really interested in seeing this one. I am wondering why they used chemical sunscreen ingredients though. That's a real bummer to me as I love the original CC cream because of its mineral spf. I would wear an spf under this which is all physical. So I am wondering how that would work under this chemical product?
I use it over mineral spfs- some better than others. I found it was to oily and slide around with Josie Maran, but I liked it with the Biossance Zinc. It seems to hold up better with the “less dewy” spfs.
I say stick with whatever you already like. This formula is underwhelming and doesn’t give the same level of coverage the others do while still looking natural. The scent isn’t good and it doesn’t last if you live in hot weather or wear a mask for your job.
The original feels like glue and drags my face down, emphasizing pores. If this is lightweight then I’m curious. How does it compare to Tarte Maracuja skin tint in the purple tube?

I can't understand why IT's "light" is SO dark and GRAY! That's really how their "light" looks on me-- gray! The swatches on Sephora's site (and IT's) for this foundation look SO vastly different. I ordered the "light medium" and am hoping for the best, but I don't know... I also hope I'll be able to tolerate the fragrance. Because while the citrus oils in the other ones never bothered me, this one has actual added fragrance. :/ Anyways, thanks for the review! This formula does look good for my dry skin type... it's just a matter of the shade & scent.
Yea the light was definitely darker than I expected!
It's a skin tint. Not meant to be full coverage. I'm into the no-makeup makeup look. I normally use the Jones Road foundation. I'll use that with an eyeshadow that is my skin tone and some light mascara. And lipgloss. That's it. Natural beauty is *chef's kiss*.

Ooo I’ll have to check out the Elf! I like Essence loose powder, Glossier Wowder, and Hourglass ambient lighting :)

I love that it’s spf 40- for some reason any spf 50 breaks me out or gives me rash/bumps - so maybe this will be a good try
Higher spfs can cause irritation for some people
IT has friends and family sale going on right now. The Glow is excluded but everything else is discounted.

I ordered this and am waiting for it to arrive. I am fair light so I hope it's not too far off. I'm wondering if this can be mixed with the matte version? I may try that out.

Thank you for doing this comparison. I have the original CC and Your Skin But Better and am going to have to replenish not too far down the road. I'm 73 and I think I prefer the YSBB but I'm wondering how it might compare to this new Nude Glow. Any thoughts?
The Nude Glow is much more dewy with less coverage. I prefer the YSBB :)

The Drmtlgy is a lighter coverage tint but with the same amount of glow👌🏻

Do they have smaller sizes because not everything works great on my face. I hate taking things back. It's such a waste.

@@erod97 oh you can get samples. Oh okay. I thought that because of COVID they didn't do them but now that I know that I'll get a sample. I rarely go to Sephora I usually shop Ulta and when I do go I'm running in then out because I never have the time to look around. So that's what I'll do. Samples it is. Thank you all for your help. You only need 1 pump. If you look oily you used to much.

I couldn’t stand the original CC . It was overly fragranced, greasy, heavy and yellow. It’s the only foundation I returned. I look forward to trying Your Skin But Better.

Yup same here 😭 immediate no go for me with chemical sunscreen or fragrance. Pees me off that so many foundations have heavy fragrance

My face can't handle it lol. big reason i like more clean beauty products just bc they avoid fragrance. so annoying though. sometimes I can get away with it. like armani luminous silk says fragrance but i can't tell and it doesn't bother me. ugh. too bad about this new launch from IT... but it def fills in the blanks for those who prefer chemical or a lighter weight version i guess!
I liked it but the fragrannnnncccceeeee. It literally smells exactly like the fake citrus smell of aeroplanes bleh.
