UCLA knew who they were hiring for OC. Maybe they changed their mind about this kid and didn't want to show their hand as Madden and his family were wishy washy and has issues committing to anything.
Nobody wanted to deal with his dad. It will be fine. We need more linemen. Remember the player limits start this year. 105 players max. This will be the biggest portal year ever. Nebraska alone is losing 30-40 players as a NCAA mandate. The top players will leave for cash, the rest will leave for opportunity, others have to leave due to the rules. Trust the process
It makes sense to contact Moss, but he says he wants to play for a conference champion contender and that's definitely not UCLA. And with our shaky O line, that makes us even less of a good fit for him.
Who would want to play for EB boring predictable offense? The dismal stats say it all. UCLA needs a dynamic imaginative OC with a scheme that works if they want to attract talented offensive players.
Why not talk about Dermaricus Davis (top 8 qb in 2024 in on3 rankings). Also why not go after Kaiden Salter, Jackson Arnold, or Connor Weigman all much better options than miller moss imo
Patrick Mahomes was a three star recruit. So was Travis Kelce ! UCLA best linebacker and leader and tackles for the Big Ten was a walk on. UCLA shouldn’t want players who don’t want to be there. Donte Moore was a one year rental and he jumped. We brought in 17 freshman and a few prefer walk on. on the other hand, Chip Kelly brought in 10 freshman and left right before the season started. A first year offense that was put in late in spring and actually started to hit his stride towards the end of the season. I might be outlier, but I love this class and it gives me hope to the future that we will build a culture. Also, if you look closely at the schools is showing where UCLA is establishing pipelines for the future. Unfortunately, we don’t have pipelines at places like Bosco, Mater Dei And those other powerhouse schools, but we’re building and going in the right direction !
The most concerning thing I saw is that Foster said that “he feels good about the offensive line” and that he may try to get a few pieces for depth purposes. Like did he not see how terrible they were???
How is it that usc always gets our players but some how we never go after a usc players. That needs to change and they need to have talks with miller moss
You actually think that they didn’t realize who the OC was until today? After committing months ago, they decided to flip today because they just found out who the coach was? 😂
The kid doesn't care where he goes just matters who offered the most $$$$$$ ... He'll transfer away from Arkansas after freshman year to whoever beats Arkansas offer
Is it really a shock? When was the last story on the two kids that ended up at Arkansas? It's been radio silence since the two kids left their original high school. We never heard how committed were these two to UCLA, that speaks volumes. EB needs to be replaced!
I really really don’t understand the EB hate.. EB is more qualified and coach material than DF. And by the way he speaks probably a better recruiter… what player wants to go play for a soft spoken DF that sounds like he’s whispering and doesn’t have one football bone in his body when he talks.. n
@@noeeortiz9073Just look at how bad the offense was under the leadership of EB. Enough said. Oh and as far as recruiting, we lost offensive recruits and current offensive players all due to EB's bad offense.
@@BC19572 how is loosing the recruits on EB? How is everything EB’s fault? Does the head coach get no blame? I don’t understand why everyone puts all the Blame on EB. Y’all act like our O-Line wasn’t horrible and the defense wasn’t trash this year. But yeah let’s just blame EB and no one else.
Moss probably won’t want to play with UCLA’s weak offensive line. The kids who went to Arkansas have too many red flags. Not playing their senior year? Really? Early in the portal but FIRE Bieniemy!
I don’t think Moss is the only QB scared about the current state of the OL. If they can get the equivalent of Demond Williams Jr.’s scrambling ability, then UCLA should look that way…
EB is a top notch OCoordinator with NFL experience. That alone should warrant recruits wanting to come here. The fact is that if UCLA doesn't pay that NIL money players are going to go elsewhere. I mean the sad part is players would rather go to the Midwest than play in Westwood. LOL SMH UCLA is a pathetic and perennial football loser. We will continue to see 3-4 win seasons and no homefield advantage. There's no excitement, poor recruiting, and a mismanagement of the football program that is not only coaching but management. Terrible just absolutely awful. So much talent in California and UCLA can't field a football squad. We're in the hotbed of football QB's and this staff cannot recruit 1!!! Think about that for a second. Think about all the QBs in our local high schools.
Arkansas can offer more money and lower admissions standards. College football has been a professional league for some time. NIL removes all pretense. To bring the NIL and portal chaos under control, the NCAA is going to have to come up with player contracts, similar to the NFL.
It's let me see, from what I see you either rack up big bags of money for the day of signing day and big bags of money for the transfer portal and the ones you really want throw a bag at them. It's why you see all the flips on signing day and before. It's the new thing of today
I don't think much about the quarterback and receiver that when back to Arkansas, they couldn't get along with Coaching staff for discipline reasons and left,at some point UCLA has to be concerned with the type of kids they are bringing into the program, why do you think Nick Saban got out of Coaching a lot of these kids are spoiled rotton!
None of this is shocking. UCLA football has been dog shit for a long time. The only thing that can make them relevant would be Dion Sanders like coach coming in a recruiting guys…
Coach EB is trying to go back in the NFL and madden was unsure who was going to be the new OC and how the new offense is going to fit him

If we had wanted a well-reasoned informed posting we would have called you…. 😎
We need a decent QB and a defense
@@eivad1 there will be plenty as non bowl teams start to wrap up the exit interviews. We will actually have both portal periods this time.
I thought they hit rock bottom with Chip Kelly. They're going lower now.

Moss is an SC guy. Let him play elsewhere.

I respectfully disagree with you...dale earnhardt wouldn't win a race if he's driving a pinto 😅...you have to have tools
He was putting a stick in his qbs back every game! You couldn’t have watched any UCLA games! 😂😂😂 total trash 🗑️ take..
We need a GM. What is Troy Aikman doing? 13:28

Loosing players toArkansas that's very disappointing
Very... very disappointing
We just got a WR from Arkansas, if it's good for the goose....
The goose says it’s good
@LockedOnUCLA Arkansas is a nothing program far from California with a HC who was on the hot seat at season's beginning you loose players to them
The kid doesn't care where he goes just matters who offered the most $$$$$$ ... He'll transfer away from Arkansas after freshman year to whoever beats Arkansas offer
Let’s go get an O Line
No o line, what freshman would want to play behind it at quarterback. Fos era not looking good.
Sign Katherine Beck...she got more fight than these 'guys'

Cannot compete on BIG NIL money and cannot compete with the jomefoels atmosphere.
Homefield

Wow today was awful for the team
Sort of like the season. 😢
But justyn Martin did not look good out there when he did get to play tho
N.I.L. it’s not that hard folks.
What a dumpster fire of a program. 😂
We’ll be fine.
NIL, it's the way of college football, it just is, have bags of cash and spend, spend until they make some rules
They need to just go balls out witth a smash mouth approach and run the ball 60-65% of the time....just play tough ball
Go get Sluka
Airzona QB is in the portal
