    Great review but I love the way it is, Im a professional bodyguard and this serves me well. The best part is the build and size, I can easily manipulate this with one hand. I also believe it’s a matter of just getting use to the Ui settings . Great throw for such a small package. For me it’s perfect and my work

    Good review. For $30, this is my favorite light right now, love the UI. You can throw it to turbo with your thumb pretty easily. What do you think of the KLARUS dual switch lights, the 360X1 or the XT2CR?

      Far too easy to hit the secondary switch. I don't recommend those models. Also, I had a catastrophic failure with my Klarus XT2CR in which not only did the LED literally fry itself, but the battery became dangerously hot. Should have recorded what took place. But instead threw the light out, and later on properly disposed of the battery. Replaced the light with an Acebeam P16 Limited Edition Defender model.
      Thermal protection on my Klarus failed miserably. Tried to get in contact with them through their official website. But no luck there. I have several Klarus models.... and now I don't trust any of them.

    I agree.
    I love and hate it. I hate the turbo situation and the missing lockout and the awful turning cap. I like a nice quick instant access to turbo from off without memorization mode first (convoy lights don't give me this, unfortunately, because their throw is awesome)
    I like the TD05, though and have seen on some reviews that it throws further than the TD04 does with less lumens. The TD05 has got easy instant double press access to turbo from off, which I love, but the side switch is annoying.
    Could you perhaps either recommend the TD05 or another light that I may have overlooked with nice long thow and easy back switch button + turbo access?
    I should perhaps mention that I own the Nitecore Edc33 but I have been sorely disappointed by it, because it arrived broken and continues to malfunction from the start. I'm working the issue out with the seller, off aliexpress.

      It doesn't have a side-switch, but I can definitely recommend the Fenix PD36R Pro since throw is important to you.

    Thats what im thinking. A shortcut to turbo when its on off setting because theres already 2 strobes on other settings

      Wurkkos came so incredibly close to creating a genuine, perfect, budget tactical light; but then screwed up the U.I.

    Do you have a video explaining what is needed for a tactical light and when you'd use strobe and when turbo?

    • @NGMonocrom
      @NGMonocrom  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Great question! That video is coming soon, as I'm fed up with various flashlight brands tossing around the word "Tactical" as little more than a marketing gimmick. Stay tuned to my channel for that near future video.

    Hello, I want to buy Wurkkos TD03, but I
    would like to change the warm color to
    a cold color, do you know what size the
    SFT40 LED plate is? 16mm or 20mm?

    • @NGMonocrom
      @NGMonocrom  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sorry, your best bet would be to go to Wurkkos' official website and email them directly. I'm a bit surprised though, as my TD03 has a cool white emitter already in it. Definitely not warm tint.

    How do you think it compares to Surefire build quality?

    • @NGMonocrom
      @NGMonocrom  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It doesn't. Not even close. Keep in mind I own over two dozen SureFire lights. Wurkkos is firmly a budget brand with their lights made by Sofirn. Though you won't find a similar model in Sofirn's line-up. Budget, but better quality than what you get from most budget brands. Still, not even close to what you get from SureFire.

    Then theoretically you can use 2 primary cr123s in any 18650?

    • @NGMonocrom

      Yes, theoretically.
