- UY Scuti: It's the largest star that we've ever discovered. And if it were to replace our Sun, it would change a lot more than just the amount of sunscreen you'd have to put on. Like, how long would it take for our planet to orbit this massive star? What would that do to our seasons? And would we even survive a single orbit?

I don't think this dude is qualified enough to be answering questions like these.
For example, Earth actually orbiting YU Scuti would not make our seasons last 2,500 years simply because the Earths orbital distance from our central star is not what causes its seasons.
The real reason why Earth has seasons is because it spins on a tilted axis.

As of 2020, UY Scuti has been downgraded. It ended up being a lot closer than originally thought. It’s still enormous, but Stevenson 2-18 is now the holder of the top spot.

And just recently it seems there is a new record star, due to previous erroneous calculations.

VY Canis Majoris’s size has been reanalyzed and estimates have brought it down. Even then, astronomers thought its size was simply too big to have been formed as a regular star.

Just a little comment. If you wanna experience different seasons at the same time, you just need to go from northern hemisphere to southern or vise versa. it doesn't have anything to do whit Earth's position in its orbit around the Sun, it has to do with how the Earth is tilted.
