No one ever realizes that Jock and Trusty were offering marriage because Lady became pregnant during her time with Tramp. Since this is set in the 1910s and created in 1955, unwed pregnancy would not have been appropriate to show, especially to younger audiences, so Jock and Trusty were offering to become step-fathers, basically.
1:06 ignore it. It's a stupid trigger warning that isn't necessary. I grew up on these movies and they in no way warped my mind into mistreating people and/ cultures. They're literally the best of Disney. Disney today has lost the magical storytelling of these older classics. Just enjoy this sweet movie❤😊
Aunt Sarah isn't really evil, she's just really strict and is more of cat person, beleiving that dogs shouldn't be with a baby. She did redeem herself at the end by sending a box of dog biscuits as a Christmas present as a way to apolgize for her prevous behaviour and that she saw there are good things in dogs as well.
@@robbinsnest6163The concept of the Scottish Terrier wasn’t even listed to because of the way the English hated the Scottish. The music created for the Siamese cats was requested by Walt and wanted it to sound very Asian
🐶👍 This was Disney's very first animated film to feature an A-list celebrity providing one of the voices. The voice of "Peg" (at 18:55) is singer/actress Peggy Lee, who was a major star at the time. She even had a hand in writing the "He's A Tramp" song that she sings. Needless to say, this was a major harbinger of what was to come several decades later. Now, the concept of releasing an animated feature WITHOUT any major celebrity voices is pretty much unheard of. 🐕 If you enjoyed this, then you will definitely also enjoy the original "101 Dalmatians" (1961).
Trusty was supposed to die at the end but Peggy Lee who voiced Peg begged Walt Disney not to do it because she said you couldn't do that to the kids who would be watching the movie.
One of my absolute favourites growing up as a little shit disturber so happy you did this one ♥️ well this one and Oliver and Company, that one was pretty much hit play then hit rewind and repeat, I'm old we had VHS tapes 🤣
You know a bad guy in a movie is evil and about to do something tremendous when they dedicate the opening screen to a warning that this is about to get heavy
When I was younger, I studied Disney animation. Among animators, there's a handful of films they consider the most beautifully animated. Here's their picks. These are the most beautiful out of Disney's classic animated films (films between 37 up til 1980). 1. Fantasia 2. Sleeping Beauty 3. Bambi 4. Pinocchio 5. Snow white 6. Lady and the Tramp
Great reaction bravo for watching an older movie because it’s old doesn’t mean it’s not good I like part of the movie when I was little I don’t know why they put the warning in the front of the movie because they use the word tramp which what which used to be a word for a stray male dog but this sounds like it’s a guy that gets around with the ladies and I think this song can be culturally. I don’t know because siam doesn’t exist anymore doesn’t exist anymore. That’s an old name for another country. I think it’s now I think it’s Taipei or Myanmar one of those but there’s still Siamese cats though they still call them that don’t think about they totally cut out the song from the cats from the original movie was the cute song for The to get out cause I guess with the accent racist I guess not everything should be racist. It wasn’t meant to be mean it did things kids don’t know what’s wrong with it. I don’t know but whatever I guess it didn’t matter. Thanks for the fun until next time.
I can't believe you've never seen it :O It's a one my favourites. Beautiful music and of course hand drawn animations. The CGI version was a massive disappointment along with Lion King, Dumbo, Jungle Book and Pinocchio. Seriously Disney, just leave these classics ALONE! And now they're using or planning to use AI?? Shame on them :(
Man... even after a lifetime of watching this movie, Trusty's bay when he catches the scent of the wagon... is actually terrifying.

I watched this film as a 8-10 yr old, always mis-remembered it, and now, on the verge of 70 I have now "watched" it again at last!
Thanx
This was one of my all time favorite movies as a kid! I loved! I hope you watch 101 Dalmatians!
Bolt (2008)
Fluke (1995)
Babe (1995)
Doctor Dolittle (1998)
Cats & Dogs (2001)
The Siamese cats infuriated me when I was a kid and now it’s hilarious
There’s a lot of racism in the movie but I didn’t know that watching it in the 80’s
If you react to Dumbo (both versions)
@@Elfanater where's the "lot of racism" in Lady and the Tramp?

I don’t wanna talk about the other stuff from the 30’s-80’s

Lots of these old animated classics are beautiful, wholesome and sweet. My favorite was Cinderella (1950).
One of the most iconic Disney movies, great watch!!
.
I recommend you :

Well that was a ball of fantastic fun, thank you😊

Awesome reaction of my favorite Disney movie!!!!!😊😊😊😊
Thank you so much!! 🤍
I wonder what a Lady and the Tramp and 101 Dalmatians crossover film would be like.
Lady and Jock make cameos in 101 Dalmatians.
Cuteness level over 9000!!!! That was awesome. They don't make them like that anymore, shame. (apart from the blatant stereotypes)
Honestly my heart was so full watching this movie, proper cuteness overload 🤣😭
The older classic Disney animated movies were all made with a passion for artistic story telling. I think you would love them all.
This movie gave cat people such a bad name, it made me so sad because I like this movie 😭😭
What old Disney movies you dont see ?
You need to check out Watership Down.

The fox and the hound.
Will check that one out! Thank you! 🤍
@@icedquokka Warning: it's a major tear jerker!
What a classic. Beautiful, wholesome and family friendly. I wish Disney would make more like this.
Please, react "101 Dalmatians"

If you haven't, you absolutely must see "Bambi."
Remember when the Tramp is telling Lady about all the homes he goes to, he says about all the different names people call him.
Oooo I think I missed that detail, that’s so cool!
Funnily enough, the live action reference for Tramp was a female.
