    TRINOVID 8x32 EVOLUTION:
In 1963 the Leitz company started the production of the Trinovid Series. The Uppendahl prism system was used for these binoculars. This straight-sighted prism is made up of three individual prisms cemented together. It has a roof edge and a mirrored surface. It reflects the light beam six times. In this respect it is comparable to the Schmidt prism which is also used in the Carl Zeiss Dialyt 8x30B. The model shown here is one of the first 8x32 models. This one has the Leitz logo on the collar of the eyepiece. From 1965-1971, the black rectangle shaped Leitz logo is on the right tube. From 1971-1977 the Leitz logos had a black circular shape.
In 1974 the 8x32 B version was introduced, which has rubber eyecups for better use by spectacle wearers. The B-Versions have a field of view of 130m at 1000m. In 1977 Leitz transferred the production to Portugal. From then on, the Trinovids had the red Leitz logo on them. In the 1980s, the Trinovids were also manufactured with a black or green rubber armoring. After mergers in 1986, Leitz was renamed Leica. Since then, the binoculars have had the red Leica logo, which is still used today.
In 1990 there was a completely new version of the Trinovid which was again manufactured in Germany. This was the "BA" version which had Schmidt-Pechan pentaprisms and an internal focusing mechanism which provided water tightness to a depth of 5 m. The 8x32 BA has a field of view of 135m at 1000m.
In 2000 the “BN” version of the Trinovid was introduced. These had the same design (and the same field of view) as the "BA" versions but a significantly improved close-focus range and Leica's HDC™ optical coating, which is a multiple coating that is extremely resistant to abrasion and other environmental influences.
In 2017 the latest version of the Trinovid was introduced - the "HD" version. This is again manufactured in Portugal and includes the latest optical properties and an ergonomic design. The 8x32 HD has a field of view of 124m at 1000m.

but sorry to tell you i have no feelings about this binocular
    maybe also most leica products
excluding elcan (I'm interested in ELCAN 7x50IF and the C79/M145 gun sight)
    else,
the duovid 10-15x50 and trinovid 6x24 can be interesting

The Leicas are very well crafted and have a good sharpness. I got an Amplivid 6x24 which there will be a video in a few weeks. I like to have the ELCAN too but it´s very rare here in Europe..

Leica color rendition is very special but hard to record. Its not a meme but I love to watch birds and flowers with a Lecia, and I have tested other Aptha Brands like Swarovski, and Leica color rendition its something special.

ElCAN = E, LEiITZ of Canada were Leitz ( Leicas after 1986 ) made in Canada for the Canadian Military. They are rare. Now ELCAN was sold to Raytheon and is no longer part of the Leica group who kept their factories in Germany and Portugal while selling their canadian operation. And the Canadian Army replaced them with Fujinons now. They are available surplus.
