So, tWitch’s wife, Alison Holker, sat down for her first interview months after tWitch passed back in December 2022. As you may recall, tWitch checked in- at the Oak Tree Inn and, according to the people who work there, he didn’t look like he was under any kind of stress. Suspicions were aroused the next day when he was supposed to check out at 11 am, and there was absolutely no sign of him. And when he didn’t check out a hotel keeper went to knock on his door and that is when they discovered his lifeless body.

My dad committed suicide when he was 60 years old and I was 29. And it was a complete surprise that none of his 4 children saw any signs of. So unless you've been in a situation like this, then you have no clue.

I know I am very late commenting on this but what you stated is so true! I have 2 very close friends who are always on the up and up and excited when you talk to them or see them on social media. And both of them are always willing to help someone even when they are secretly going through. It's amazing. But they both suffer from depression and I only know this because I am a close friend. One of them I have been best friends with over 20 years and I found out about 2 years ago. She's the type that don't like talking about it either.

I agree that's why I have a hard time believing ppl who appear on social media saying they're depressed bcuz those who are truly afflicted remain silent at times and try to deal with things on their own bcuz they dont want to feel like a burden or no one will understand why they feel the way they do . I work in a mental health facility and I've seen ppl going through complete mental break downs and have severe bouts with depression where they tried to harm themselves so ppl on social media im sorry to say it but they're just viewing mental health disorders as if it's a trend

No one can say they aren’t mourning the correct way. We all mourn differently, my son is in the hospital, l am so sad, but I haven’t shed a tear. He’s alive thank God. My mother passed away and I haven’t shed a tear until 3 years later.
When my grandma died, my sister tried to tell me I wasn’t morning properly (she was a hot mess, I was not) and that it’s not healthy to keep it all inside. I told her I wasn’t keeping anything inside, and my grandma was at peace. She was no longer suffering in her human body, and her physical presence was as now gone yes. But, I know exactly where my grandma is, her energy is still here and I can talk to her anytime I want to. Just like I can talk to my grandpa. He was there when my grandma passed, waiting for her on the other side. I feel bad for my sister, because she is not connected and doesn’t understand the other side, so she mourns because her connection to my grandma has been severed. I get it, I wish I could help people connect, but it’s always just come natural for me 🤷🏼♀️ I’ve had a few near death experiences all before age 4, so I think that may have helped me somehow..

Maybe it was "that kind of neigborhood" where gun shots are heard all the time. Or maybe he used a pillow to muffle the sound. Or maybe no one checked into the rooms next to his. I hear gun fire from outside my building at times, but if no cops show up or there's nothing on the news, I have to assume the shooter missed.

A friend of mine that has been there, told me that when someone gets to the place of suicide, they are beyond Depression! I never forgot that! 😢
I heard those words before and can understand and get it.
Every time I looked at twitch I saw a very very sad guy. It stood out in his eyes. I always believed Ellen’s show taking such a hard hit and then coming to an end really affected his sense of identity and self. I think without the show he felt lost and wasn’t sure where the future would lead. It’s beyond baffling.
Twenty five years ago I went through an indescribable depression. I had dire thoughts every day all day. I spoke to a professional and she warned me that I could end up following through on those thoughts. I assured her that as bad as it was and despite the fact that I thought about doing it constantly I knew I would never harm myself. I was enveloped by the darkness. It got really bad. She was convinced I was wrong and told me she was concerned I was going to do something drastic. It took a very long time but I made it out of that very very dark chapter. I knew it was some thing I just could not ever do. I’m not sure why some people make that final decision.
I've thought about it many many many times but I couldn't ever bring myself to just do it. I will be 55 in a few weeks and I am happy that I'm still here to enjoy my kids and grandchildren. They truly are the reason I get up every single day. And I thank God every single day for my life. I hope you are doing better now. Prayers that you keep being strong 🙏🙏

I have a Buddy whose a dancer on the same level as twitch (he was on so you think you can dance) when I asked him why he's not on tv he told me it's because the people behind the scenes are cold sociopaths wouldn't shock me if twitch couldn't take the heat they were giving him anymore, lotta men can't express pain to their partners cause if we do will come off as inferior so this is what can happen.

I was emotionless when my brother in law died. I think he was the only person who ever loved me for who I was. . 5 years later his sister and I are seperated. But 3-4 years after his death, it begun to hit me and I would cry alone for short periods. You cannot tell a person how to mourn.
You don't have to look depressed. You can hide it very well. I will keep him and his family in prayer especially the children.

There’s definitely tension between Allison and his family. Someone posted a comment claiming that Twitch’s mom hasn’t been allowed to see the grandkids, had to wait three weeks to view his body, and family members were forced to sign a NDA prior to his funeral. At first, I thought it was gossip until his brother “liked” the comment!

I don’t know their situation, but unless his mother is a narcissist, then I can understand why they are keeping the kids away. If you never had a narcissist in-law it’s hard to comprehend the magnitude of evil that you can experience.

As someone who studied criminal justice, forensic science has proved people's innocence when their emotionless response to the death of a loved one made the authorities suspicious, so they were considered guilty until proven innocent. Someone's actions or inactions shouldn't be judged - don't judge a book by its cover is a true statement. Also, there are so many celebs who died w/o wills. It's strange at this age but the main reason is because ppl associate making a will with death & fear the thought.

I believe THAT along with all the stresses of work he was just fed up. I am always leary of people who seem EXTRA happy on social media. It just seems phoney and most times it IS. You can TELL by this man's mannerisms that he's a gay man. When asked about more children, you can see his face. He wasn't with it but to save face, he back peddled and agreed with her. Personally, I don't even think he wanted the FIRST baby. They wasn't as happy as they put on.

So... From the start when the news broke of Twitch taking his life... two things entered my mind.
1. The Ellen Degeneres ordeal... Twitch was catapulted into an awesome career and then had it ripped away from him, and this had to affect him mentally and physically... and he needed help to help cope with this from the start....
2. He seemed to be forced to be in a relationship he really didn't want. I felt this way because in some interviews that they both did together, Allison says repeatedly said that she literally had to chase after him and that he was hesitant about being in a relationship with her. 😏 His wellbeing definitely wasn't being looked after and needed to be... Still, so heartbreaking 😪

I don’t have an opinion on how she did or didn’t act before or after his passing. However, I immediately wondered why her initial reaction was so contact law enforcement just because he left the house and she didn’t know where he was going. Why would she think he went MIA to harm himself? That part of the story always made me feel like there was already something going on with him that would cause her to be concerned for his safety in such a small amount of time

Right! He defended Ellen when all the allegations came out. Twitch had an elevated role on that show and was treated very well there and didn’t have the same experience as the other people. I don’t know what the future held for him career wise in his niche.
Maybe that depressed him because he wasn’t going to get that type of executive producer title or salary. If you think about it, him and Allison’s dance videos on IG was strategic, it raised his profile and keep him in everyone’s face, so if a job was out there in development, his name would be on the tip of someone’s tongue.

Medication they give to those who are grieving can give the impression they aren’t grieving. When my kids passed away I was given medication that made me numb. Months after a death you can be in shock mode.
It’s also not weird for someone that young to not have a will. A lot of people don’t.

I always had mixed feelings and questions on my mind about this? It seemed as something was being hidden or covered up. If a person plans suicide they usually make plans for the people that will be left behind. He would’ve definitely made sure there was a will. I didn’t here them mention what was in the suicide note, where was the murder weapon and I thought the murder weapon wasn’t in his dominant hand. Where is the surveillance? Was he alone in the room the whole time or had he had visitors? Did he make any calls or receive any calls? I always felt like she was the dominant one in the relationship. She did chase him, rub against him and touch his butt and he still ignored her. I wouldn’t be surprised if she insisted on the marriage. She wanted more babies, clearly he didn’t seem to agree, he just went along to get along. People say comedians are the saddest and most depressed people,I believe that. He always seemed way chipper and excited, a sign someone is hiding their true feelings trying to appear happy. She was a social media fiend and it showed in their videos that she was the one who took the lead and pushed for those, he just did it. He didn’t look happy at all to me. From the first time seeing him on SYTYCD to their interviews together he seemed like he was sunken in, just there trying to make it. I felt so bad for him. He took some heat from the Ellen lawsuit and backlash just because he was a producer. He probably faced the same treatment the other black workers spoke about. I really hope one day the full truth comes out and his parents can know what really happened…..

So I don't know why so many people are saying the things they're saying about his wife and giving her more stress than she needs.

It always seemed like Twitch been checked out and was just on auto pilot putting his WW on a pedestal pretending he was happy and love his life. IMO Twitch grew to love Allison (and of course the kids) but it seem like Twitch being the true star was constantly attached to Allison and sold as a packaged deal. And sorry not sorry during that JHud interview it was clear Twitch did not want anymore kids but Allison seem to keep pushing. Twitch was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulder and live up to being the provider. It started to seem like Twitch was stressed and wanted out of the marriage. It’s just sad Twitch didn’t seek therapy, divorce and co-parent. ☕️

I've learned sometimes you don't know what happened to make someone commit sucide. I went to training for years in the military, I looked for the signs and there wasn't any. My uncle still committed suicide. A family was the sheriff, so it was confirmed. I chose not to allow family members from out of state to say " he wouldn't do that". He did, it doesn't matter what you think. He did it. No note was left, he committed suicide. I chose not to sit and wonder why or what if.

If he wasn’t having any financial problems he must have been living with some really deep emotional trauma or pain he couldn’t continue living with.

Case and point, Robin Williams. You can have money and the best job in the world (Anthony Bourdain) and still not be ok. Speculating after someone has died by suicide is not cool.
