Tortured Whole has been on repeat all day for me. The first listen the stand outs were much of the singles they released, probably because they were comfortable for me since I've listened to them so often. But after listening all day the tracks you played are strangely the same tracks that I've grown to really love. Like that two-step beat in the title track just RIPS
I highly recommend today’s episode of the Heavy Hole Podcast, where they interview Cody Davidson. He gives a very interesting insight into the way they recorded the album, and explains his choices when it comes to the drum parts of the album. Makes a nice companion piece.
The tracks that stood out for me on this album were Tortured Whole, Urinary Ichor and Felching Filth. Which happens to be the tracks you played here...interesting
Cheers on the review! Always glad to see Ohio bands get some exposure! I don’t get the hate, it’s ridiculous. If you haven’t heard heard chloroform cocktail by limbsplitter check them out, same vocalist, way different.

Sanguisugabogg is just meme slam. Their demo EP was alright but their new stuff is trash. Defeated Sanity is definitely much better, or literally almost any old school death metal band now.
@@Unspeakable_Nihilistic Well, like them or not we can both agree they are overhyped and people should look more into Defeated Sanity, Undeath and Undergang for example.

I’m glad to see that some audio clips have been added in this review.I found the older reviews to have too much talk about the song without examples. It also helps to hear what the band sounds like if you’re new to them. Keep it up!!
Are people really upset about abusive or misogynistic lyrics in a death metal band? its a fucking band. That's like being mad about a horror movie containing killing. Its a fucking story. Fucking people these days.
Check out Cianide’s “The Dying Truth” from 1992. When I first heard this album I thought of that album. Snare equally mesmerizing for me 27 years ago. 🤘
I'll tbh. When I heard the EP, it sorta changed my life. It's the closest thing I've ever found to what I WANT to hear. Needless to say I love the new album. I'm so fired up on this band.
It was gross but it was so over the top that I cannot help but love it! "Real" gore like the latest CC video is not for me, too emphatic person and cannot handle it, but stupid B-movie black/gore comedy stuff is amazing. 🤣

@@whatcolorisdeath1266 I know bro (even if "around" is not quite the term ahah). I definitely tried with Pornographic Seizures but I've come to realize that while I really do love death metal, there's something about brutal/slam that just doesn't work for me. It's nice though that a band from one of the more extreme subgenres is getting a lot of hype!
The band just seems boring to me. They have all of the sound/elements of what could be an insanely good slam/brutal death band, but their "mid paced" sections are just too slow IMO. Like slam-doom
Hahaha! I must check these guys out, fucking awesome cheesy death metal not taking itself too serious, the way it should be. Killer riffs, great drums and heavy as fuck vocals.
Hey Banger TV, being that Brad has openly said in other videos and social media that he’s friends with the band, why have him do the review? Are your reviews unbiased or do you guys just fanboy your friends?
It is impossible to work in this sphere and not be friends with the bands you cover because it's such a small world and you end up brushing shoulders with a lot of folks. I've given mediocre reviews to bands I am friends with, but this one just happens to really tinkle my fancy.
