Information is abundant these days but wisdom like this is hard to find!

Where do you find wisdom. Personally I get it from my parents. They've been married 65 years. And they wouldn't agree with 75% of what she or any so called experts say. Becausevthere are no experts. It's their opinion and we all have one What's good for the goose isn't always good for the gander

A wonderful discussion. Couples need nurturing, loving conversations.

Maybe some do maybe some don't. All relationships work differently

Next she'll be teaching you what works in her religion. Would you believe all she has to say about that also. She knows no more then you. It's just what works with her relationship. Everyone has a opinion on what's good for their relationship but it doesn't matter. If your happy with what your doing or not. There's absolutely nothing her or anyone can do to change that

I am just so glad to hear that Sue Johnson gets things like this wrong too. I love the work that she does, and what she’s presenting here, but it makes me feel validated when I mess up. Lol.

And this is why there are absolutely no efforts in this area. No one knows what truly works and doesn't.

Is she a comedien or is she trying to be serious. Either way she's very funny acting as if she knows what's good or bad for relationships when nobody knows. Because what works for hers doesn't mean it works for all. She should just stay and do all of this in hers. And stop preaching as of it's good for everyone. It's like sticking your religion down someone's throat

Dr. Johnson is one of the most insightful individuals you would ever meet!
Edit: Her wisdom, skills, compassion and the way she approaches and facilitates how we can make sense and organize our internal emotional landscape/ system/ thoughts/ feelings/ experiences/ insecurities/processes etc.. IS sooooo freeing, reintegrative, & it goes sooooo deep to our core…
If you are ever in need to find a clinician or find a clinician certified in her therapy approach/work, I would highly recommend it.
If that clinician is a match for you, I believe you will eventually get a new more wholesome, all-around more compassionate & insightful perspective about THE PARTS of YOU that make you ALL of who and what YOU are. It’s pretty incredible! It’s amazing!
