@@juniord.4077 IMG is a private school and recruits players, Duncanville and North Shore are both public schools and have kids born and raised in that area playing for them. Now if we didn’t have UIL rules in Texas and could move/transfer IMG wouldn’t stand a chance lol

They did too many delayed plays. It was almost a given when they loaded up. Duncanville is way to talented on both sides. But, IMG..That's a whole different monster in general. Shout out to both squads!
Shout-out to the Duncanville players because they win games solely on their athleticism. Their offensive scheme has some well designed plays but their scheme seems to be to attack the edges with the run, or utilize swings to a back, hb screens or bubble screens. to the edge. After a few plays, you realize their passing game is really just their running game using the same running game action as fakes....finally, you realize you can set your D' up in a Tampa 2, take away the flats and slant plays make Duncanville throw past the LB's but under the safeties and you can beat them...many times the Duncanville players are so talented, it doesn't matter if the defense has figured them out by the middle of the 2nd Qtr.,

IMG should win every game. They’re a boarding school that hand picks the best HS players from all over the nation. This shouldn’t be a surprise.
Yet if they lost to TX you'd say team chemistry and home-grown boys beat hand-picked all-star teams. IMG can't win in your mind.
please don't come in here with the img recruits comments lol everyone knows, an no florida doesn't claim them they are a national team with national players so dont say they only won because they recruit the whole point of img is to get the best players and make the best team to compete nationwide and yes they are an all star team.

Louisiana would be a constant sleeper tbh. I'm fron Texas but the New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport areas are loaded with A1 athletes if nothing else.
Special teams and turnovers. I think number #13 from Duncanville was the most electric offensive player on the field and #8 from Duncanville on Defense. Duncanville needed better coaching and better QB play. I think it came down to coaching though.

After watching several IMG football games, it all boils down to which team has the most resources to develop their players physically and mentally, and not necessarily D-1 talent! A common theme I find when watching IMG play other schools is, IMG outplays the other team physically and mentally! A lot of these schools come out strong against IMG, but they can't maintain that level of play for 4 quarters. The reason that IMG can play 4 quarters strong comes down to their state of the art exercise facility and maybe roster depth. IMG develops their players physically and mentally. Because IMG has more than enough resources they can further develop their 3rd and 4th string players(to a competitive level) and rotate them in the game. This does one important thing, it gives their 1st and 2nd string players time to rest. This is what allows them to play 4 quarters of high tempo football. The reason why Mater Dei is able to compete with IMG is because of solid coaching, talented and DISCIPLINED players, and a gold standard workout facility. Many of the other schools have the talent, but lack the resources to really, I mean really develop their players! Thanks for attending my TED TALK!

@@BornDead61: if you looked back over IMG's games over the years they start decently, and the games are usually closer. However their 3Q begins to open things up. IMG's juggernaut of depth-players rotate in, and opponents cannot hold it back. It's been a consistent pattern of IMG's over the years. They have prepared their bench players to be like starters. Saying it's just talent is ignorant.

After being able to watch the game Mistakes mistakes mistakes turnovers and poor special teams giving Img short fields to work on cost Duncanville the game but athletes and toughness you saw on the field. For public school south of Dallas them boys are tough anyone who doesn’t see the raw talent doesn’t know football.

Yea img being able to pull talent nation wide definitely gives them a unfair advantage but I guess that’s what you expect when you play them. Born and raised in Dallas one thing Ik is Texas 4A-6A is no joke that’s big time football anyone who says it’s not I believe just hasn’t experienced it.

I believe it man no doubt when I played highest level of competition was 5A and we knew if we were going division 1 it was a wrap for us we prayed for division 2 depending on the schools in the district that qualified for playoffs lol 😂

When they faced, it was pretty even but MD coaching was better. IMG relied too much on their run game and talent. CIF should uplift the ban of IMG, cause every year is different so we wanna see a rematch.
