Agreed and its over 5 hours theres nothing better then these long videos napoleon from Italy to his end in one video would make my whole life i could die happy after watching lmaooo
The greatest history series not just on TH-cam, but ever created. You have created a genuine masterpiece that sets a new standard for history content. When I first watched this series many years ago, it ignited a passion for history, especially this era, that I never knew I had. I went to Paris specifically to see Napoleon's Tomb, and it was while I was there that i met the love of my life. To say this series changed my life is not an understatement. Thank you, and may you continue to show people how exciting learning history can be.
The analysis of Napoleon’s invasion of Russia in 1812 was incredibly striking. It’s fascinating how such a brilliant strategist could overlook the logistical challenges and underestimations that ultimately led to the collapse of the Grande Armée. It really shows the fine line between ambition and overreach in leadership. It makes me wonder-if Napoleon had been more cautious, could he have maintained his empire for longer? This campaign is such a pivotal lesson in history about the dangers of overextending one’s resources.
I'm not sure, I feel like the similarities between Napoleon's situation in pre-invasion Europe was similar to Hitler's in 1941, also pre-invasion of Russia. In both cases I think the conflicts final resolution was never seriously in doubt, but the invasions definitely sped up the resolution.
Yo, finally 'March of the Eagles' and 'Downfall' are combined into one, grand, epic video! This is THE definitive video on Napoleon's battles and conquests as emperor; so glad to see it all combined into one huge video!
Learning French myself. Mostly because Chinese is way harder. Lol. Anyway, you’ll love Napoleon’s tomb. It’s enormous, and within this gorgeous setting. Got to see it myself many years ago, on my first visit to Paris. Didn’t see it on my second visit. On the third visit I shall go, fortified with all this history I now know about this man and his exploits.
This is as amazing as it is epic. A compilation of the wars that turned the Little Corporal into a legend, the most powerful man in Europe during the first decades of the 19th century and one of the most influential historical figures in all of human history. I'm going to enjoy it like a child. Thank you EHTV, you are the greatest 🎉
You really need to update the Waterloo section now. Needs much more detail and would be great to include the exile, return and aftermath of the battle as the allies persued him back into France.
@@EpichistoryTvbro please can you release it to TH-cam after a year I, broke man I’m only 16 I don’t got money pls I beg eventually make it free I swear I will watch all the ads for you and get you the ad revenue 😢
History casts Napoleon as a villain now, but if his France had stabilized and consolidated its empire in Europe, it's plausible neither the two World Wars nor the communist revolution ever happens.
@@CognizantCheddarA world war was completely and utterly inevitable, so was communist (or some other alternate radicalism) revolution due to the old order being weakened by the world war
@@fish5671 - WW1 happened because of ultranationalism between multi-nation alliances - the communist revolution happened because of turmoil resulting from WW1 - WW2 happened because WW1 happened The first domino simply isn't there to tip over if Europe is already united under one empire at the turn of the 20th century.
@@CognizantCheddar Europe could never be unified under a single empire in the 1800s and if it was, the world war i speak of would simply be this empire's inevitable colapse
"Are you going to let those fellows devour us?" Is probably the best part in any historic movie, series, documentary or TH-cam video ever by far. Goosebumps everytime.
Man, now i just must watch 5.16.07 hours of Epic Napoleon🇨🇵. What do i even need sleep for?! Have i watched the videos already? Of course. Have i watched them unnumbered times? Yes sir. Do i watch them combined again? Absolutly! What a masterpiece! Thank you for everything! ❤
The intro has always been one of my favorites of any documentary. The music, the lead in with " in December 1804" - " revolution and war had cleared Napoleon's path to the throne" It's just epic in every way. Pun intended.
Best history chanell on TH-cam! Absolutely love you're guys work and especially the Napoleon series. I would love to see you guys cover the battle of Hohenlinden or maybe even a General Moreau series. Keep up the great work !
@EpichistoryTv I hope you’re doing well! I just wanted to express how much I’m looking forward to watching the Hannibal saga in Italy. It’s been a while since we’ve had a new piece to enjoy, and I truly believe it would bring so much joy to all of us here in Tunisia. Thank you for your efforts!
I had watched almost the entire video all parts on Nebula I must say it's truly incredible plus I like the way that you changed the 3rd part of Napoleon's chapter of the Napoleonic Wars from Russia defeated (Friedland in 1807) to "War with Russia" (Eylau and Friedland) I must say that was a well-planned change in the all parts series but also I noticed at the beginning of the series of the Austerlitz at 1805 I noticed the border with Russia, Prussia, and Austria looked exactly like the borders in the Congress of Vienna of 1814-15, either this was a misconception or not it was definitely noticeable at first good thing later on you had the original borders still the same which was fine but overall well done Epic History as well as for the Narrator and commentator for Epic History Charles Nove, Toby, and the rest of the Epic History team keep doing what you love to make.

3:42:42 - I always get so shocked by Napoleon's stupidity here. Could he really not see the writing on the wall? The allies had him dead to rights and they still offered him a fantastic deal. Giving up Illyria and Poland are complete no-brainers. Okay, losing the Confederation of the Rhine is pretty bad. But it's nowhere near as bad as losing your entire empire. Constant victory truly is a kind of handicap. It prevented him from learning how to manage defeats properly in order to minimise loss. As a result he lost it all.
