Thank you Orlando for sharing video of the card show. I worked at a card shop DJ Sports Collectibles in Westchester, CA back in the mid 80’s to early 90’s. I remember going to the 1st National and a few others. I live in Utah now, so have not been to a show in a long time. I’m a long time collector that recently had some medical issues. I told friends back in the 80’s to buy the “old stuff” because I believed it would hold its value over time. Now old stuff is called “vintage”. I do like vintage cards better than the new stuff. But to each their own and that’s the beauty of collecting. This is a great/fun hobby and people like you make it even better. Thank you Orlando for sharing.
Orlando, it’s difficult for my eyes to stretch from England to FL but those cases with the lids up tells me that’s my long time mate John Bucci. I have bought cards from him for over 20 years when on holiday over there. I remember when he didn’t have 1 graded card for sale and he always had a nice case of non sport. That was the table u was going to go back to. Not sure if he is living permanently in FL but if my memory serves me correctly he hails from Arizona way. Johns son did work for Century 21 a real actor over there at one time. Goodness I wish I was there……
For sure John is an awesome dealer. I’ve bought from him several times and he was mostly ungraded. Saw him few months ago and he was preparing a group for grading. He sold me one of them before he graded it. Thank you for your comments, always appreciated
Hi Orlando. Great footage, boy there was a lot of good vintage stuff there, in all sports. Plus some good non sport stuff. That really looked like a great small show, thanks for sharing Orlando.
Great walk through Orlando. The commentary is a nice touch. The first dealer had an array of great items. I wonder if he had the Topps 1969 Basketball Checklist.
Orlando..Like seeing the cards selling at the shows..Liked the guys with the hockey collections..save some myself .Been searching for comps for 1970-71 OPC hockey CL1 #24 PSA 8..Nothing on Ebay in an 8 ..Would appreciate any help very much 😁
Very cool, thanks for sharing your experience. For the best comps use VCP, PSA also has some, but rarer cards auction houses like Heritage have sales history.
Good Evening, Thank you for scouting out the show and getting dealer contact information. Maybe "something new" can be done at card shows regarding the "interactions" between willing dealers and content creators. This "new thing" could be that when a content creator takes video of a dealers table and if it is "somehow determined" that the video will end up on social media.... maybe the dealer could QUITE WILLINGLY present a business card or some sort of contact information to be included in the video. In this case the dealer will have widened the audience for potential customers. This OF COURSE is dependent upon if the dealer actively wants his contact information to be known. Of course, this idea is not original, I just wanted to present it again. Thank you very much.
Thanks so much for your comments. When I attend shows, I’ll walk the show. Many dealers know, others don’t, I try to introduce myself. Then I film, some dealers want me to film them and contact info. Some allow me to film case but only sell at shows and don’t care to share info. Appreciate your support and advice

Yeah boy another great one
Thanks so very much
Didn’t realize you went this weekend, I would have gone
Should’ve called you, came to visit my daughter for her birthday. Made a quick trip to the show. Will call you next time!
OMG I'd go broke if I had shows like that in west texas
This was definitely one of the biggest vintage shows.
Very nice!
Thanks for the visit
Orlando do you have the information of the dealer who's table you showed first?
Sorry but didn’t have the information on him. I do have the promoters name and number. See my video for pickups. He has the number.
@@ACollectorsDream that's alright, no need to hassle
thanks for sharing, can't believe how many dealers there are using rubber bands even if its on protected cards. a bit sacraligious in 2024
For sure, get rid of rubber bands!
