I’m not saying pg3d is dead fully, but from an OG 2016 player’s standpoint this game really went downhill relatively quick. I’m gonna do my best to revive. Also my channel is not pg3d-dependent anymore I’ll still do content nonetheless.

Yeah I can agree I been play since 2014 and stopped in 2017 because of Fortnite was blowing up and everybody just forgot about it and it sad what the game had become
I started playing in 2015 and honestly I think the game is becoming better. Less toxic people on chat than ever, fun grappling weapons, unique gadgets and weapons. I'm enjoying the game more than I did back in 2019

This lies in childhood here, the weird sandbox moments, and the fun killing sprees of clueless people on specific maps like paradise resort with the shuriken thrower. Good times when I was 9 and now here, the beginning of my final year of high school. It's been a great run but there is always an ending.

Im an og who has been playing since 2013. I loved this game. Around 2019 I left because the devs started putting way to much P2W weapons and made it harder to obtain them if you were a F2P player. Its sad to see my childhood game go down like this.
I also played since 2013 and I was always a noob playing on my iPad and being max level with not even up1 weapons. I then started getting better but I lost all my data and stopped playing. Now I downloaded it again and got attached as it is my childhood

I think you should have covered the entire "wish lottery" scheme. They said they were not going to include ultimatum, but in the end they did and proceeded to make it extremely hard to get. They then proceeded to add many pay to win offers for keys, which many players bought hoping to get ultimatum.
I remember seeing about 12 different people saying they spent 100+ dollars trying to get ulti and never got it
The lobbies were ruined for a whole month after the event.
That event shows just how greedy and ignorant the devs could get. They saw how many people wanted ulti. They knew it would ruin the game, but they decided to break their own rule just to make money.
And it worked. They made at least 10,000+ dollars on that event and im sure of it. The sheer amount of people who went pay to win during it was insane and it genuinely ruined the game for a bit.
And still no ulti nerfs...
Honestly I think it’s time for Pixel Gun 3D to get a sequel, or a prequel, or a spin-off, or even a stand alone story. Bringing brand new and fresh content to the table, I think the campaign was okay, but I think they should do a open world campaign honestly, adding more lore to the world of Pixel Gun 3D and also new gameplay to the table aswell. Honestly Pixel Gun 3D was released 9 years ago. It’s time for a new continuation to this game

2015-2016 was the Golden Era of PG3D. Coins were easy to get, campaign was fun, all you could do is play and you'll have fun. The era now is literally "You can't pay for shit, so you'll just keep on losing"
2017 is when it started to go down, I think it might have tried to recover back in 2018 but I didn't stick around long enough to see any that
Been around since 2015, always enjoyed the competitive side of the game. I been modding currency and weps since 2016 to avoid p2w. Adding delay to 3cat and momentum to movement definetly slowed the game down, and I have lost interest in sweats since then, which is unfortunate as there hasn't been any other shooter to play as fast as pre delay 3cat pg3d. no acc no armor old school pool privs is as close as it gets, but it's just not the same

Man I remember playing this in summer 24/7. I grinded af. TH-camrs didn't make clickbaity meme filled videos. Good og days. People didn't use dllc guns as much. Man this game made my child hood
As someone who's played this game for 8 years before armor before gems and all the pay to win garbage the game was really fun and chaotic the game still is chaotic but its not the fun chaotic it used to be the video was well made however i think it would've been better if you went in more in depth about the history of pixel gun like introduction of armor and gems and the broken weapons like the wizard wand, crossbow, explosives, ghost lantern, old 3cat without delays, and how the game got more p2w and how content on pixel gun became boring and bland compared to back then. Very good video
This brings back memories man. I remember the story/campaign, the pool map is forever etched into my mind. This is probably the first "nostalgic" thing I really remember.
Bro I literally remember like 2015 whenever sandbox mode was a thing. I remember going on there and basically online dating. Then I remember being so bad at the game because my potato phone couldn't really run it too well. Then I remembered when the game sort of started to decline to where it is today. They slowly started to add more pay 2 win stuff and the game felt rigged so the only way you could actually beat people is if you've got money. I think the last good memory I've had with this game is when I, and many others, would do these "NO KILL" matches on pvp maps and they were tons of fun. Legit got to explore with many other players and it was just entertainment taken to a whole new level at that point.
After that, I lost interest in the game. I think the last time I've played pixel gun 3d is in like 2018 or 2019.
I did actually play it again, like today a few hours ago. I reinstalled it just to see what happened to it, and oh my god it was horrendous. I was playing on a new phone, my older one was like $99.99 but my newer one was literally almost $900. But the game feels broken, literally. I could play team matches for a bit, and then it would kick me out and send me back to the main menu. Literally every match there is either bots or just really OP tryhards, 99% of the time it was just bots. I really hated how they shove this starter pack thing in your face randomly, I legit couldn't do anything for 5 mins before this animations of this dude popped up and he was like "WOAAAH" and "OHHH" and it just shown a deal thats $100 but its been marked so it was instead $5.49 something. Not only that, but I've checked the store and it was basically the same as it was when I've left PG3D entirely. Most expensive stuff being over $100, but it didn't really give a lot of gems/coins like it should.
Lets just say that 1 coin is worth $0.50 USD and 1 gem is worth $2.00 USD. Then lets say the most expensive option costed $129.99. For that amount of money, you could buy 64,995 coins and 25,998 gems which seems very reasonable. Sure its still p2w, but it is a hella of a lot better than getting 1000 coins and gems with over $100 which will get you basically no where because you'd still have a bunch of weapons to be unlocked and/or upgraded.
I'm going to miss it so much because of the player base, and because of how little p2w it was. I will also miss the fact that sometimes, whenever you were in a match with other players, a dude with a full on chinese or japanese or even russian name would join and they would have hacks. Legit dudes would be god moding, 1 shooting players, or just using infinite ammo. I actually do miss the hackers bro because I've made friends with some of them and they actually helped me through the game a bit.
Other than that, I guess this is goodbye. I will miss PG3D.

I remember playing this along time ago, with this blue electricity sniper rifle, a very powerful wallbanging sniper rifle that shot a purple laser, along with a red minigun (my favourite) the game was so fun to play, but i stopped playing when pets were added cuz they were so annoying. the game has changed so much, i am very sad to see how the game has ended up, in such a sorry state. great video, thanks for catching me up!

Ever since they cracked down on the account sync trick, I quit. Also the chaotic yet entertaining instagram community was the only think keeping me into the game, and even then me getting myself into dozens of dumb drama has made me fed up with the game. I once was quite respected in the community but people started to dislike me more and more and I had enough already and that's where I quit, back in late summer of 2018. I tried getting back on the game on 2 occasions but it was so different that me adapting to the new meta was simply not possible.
As someone who started playing in late 2015, I’m really glad that I was able to enjoy the game, even if it didn’t last long. We shouldn’t consider the excuse for a game and community that we see now ‘Pixel Gun’. We should see Pixel Gun as the fun game that we constantly compared to Minecraft (but still enjoyed).

Great video, I think matchmaking is an issue that I think would be impossible to resolve, bc grinding to lv 65, you meet player out of your match, some may get satisfaction and some won't. ender in the last clip is right especially when server cost money, and also the devs financial lives, It's a difficult problem, it's a very fast paced game with it ranking above others which unfortunately ended up with the devs to handle. I think they are trying something new, and I'm sure with their rate of work it might end up helping the game
The matchmaking was based on levels 0-10, 10-20 etc.. And guns needed x level to upgrade or get a gun. The game was great but they kicked the old rilisoft team and replace it with cubic games (cancer devs)
A childhood memory, started playing in 2014 till 2016 when I was 12. I remember all of the TH-camrs and fun times I had in and around the game, I haven’t played since then as I just didn’t enjoy the game anymore and the game started to become more and more P2W. I remember when the leaderboards first came out I grinded and grinded until I got first which seemed like such an achievement bc there was no bots 😂.

This game has fallen pretty hard, I used to play almost everyday starting around 2015. It was so nice then, the most op weapon was a simple laser gun (prototype). Weapons were so much better then, I can remember getting crystal laser cannon when it was meta, learning to 3 cat spam, grinding clan wars with the original WSUL, and trying fun glitches to troll people. Then they started adding cringy weapons, took out popular maps, took away homing. The breaking point was prob around 17-18.0 update with the new chest system. It just got worse from then, new clan war system (trash imo, I miss fighting other top clans in siege), then the tournament system was changed, lottery/set event has become more rigged (remember when you could exclude 3 slots in event, only 1 now...). I'm not even gonna talk about how they haven't updated gallery for 2 years now ( think last time was around 2021 easter). The game just isn't what it used to be, they keep adding levels, nerf post-game rewards, then they ruined the battle pass, now I get an add every time I leave a match. I've been a f2p for my entire playing time, I've got around 600 weapons, all the good ones, and yet it just is not as fun anymore. I've been playing on and off now for a while. Those early memories of the game will always be treasured, meeting really nice people, grinding out the battle pass (this was so fun and rewarding as a f2p, since you could only get roughly every other season, now its ruined bc its so hard to get credits without spending), waiting those last 5 min before winning 1st place in pro league, and just the simplicity of the game, when the anti-champ was a 1 shot (now they have the these stupid modules and op armor), and all the people who just spam AoE weapons.

I didn't experience the early game much, but I was highly active in the community, and I networked my way into several top clans.
(Global Elites 2, Blackout, Justice, and Universe 7)
I quit around April 2019 because of the ban wave, and I have never returned to the game.
@@TerminallyOffline2 I have pretty much stopped playing as of about 1-1.5 years ago, occasionally I check the reddit to see what's going on in-game. The game became not fun, there was nothing to play for. I had the most fun playing the old clan wars against good players, sadly those days will never return.
@@lmao3903 yeah with good modules, but with dev armor and some decent modules on it you can easily survive with 30-50hp remaining (providing you have full armor).

I'm a Veteran Pixel Gun 3d player and started around when PG3D came out of android, I remember the day when I destroyed an entire lobby with 3 cat spam since it's the only tactic I can use against whale now the whales ruined the game for us F2Ps by getting the PG3D devs to nerf 3 cat spam, tho I love it when they added the 3 cat spam mode and I get to relive the good old days but it isn't permanent due to weapon restriction
Things that would help port pg on to every platform imaginable, get rid of pop ups unless it’s something real special, AND UPDATE THE GALLERY!
Great idea for this video, however the delivery, not so much. One tip I’d like to make is to sound more enthusiastic and if you trip up then run it back and play it smooth. Other than that I really like the structure of the video and great aesthetic, keep up the good work my man! :)

Play this game since 2014, such a shame to see its downfall, but the pay to win was a serious issue and I remember it very well. I stopped playing around 2018-2019 not really sure, but I had tons of memories from that game. Sandbox and the wacky chats I got into, the friends I had on the game. I'm pretty sure the reason I stopped playing was because I was level 31 and I think I was dealing with like level 40s and such when 31 was no longer the level cap (too many over powered weapons I couldn't get a kill... partly skill issue). Maybe I'll get it back and see it's condition, but that's just a thought. Rip
I played for a good year during the age of OP weapons. I am surprised I heard nothing about solar flare, or the portal gun, and I know you mentioned triple bite, but you didn't say what was bad about it, which was the module combination that made you unattackable for 4 seconds. The shuriken gadget was also a silent problem for most of the game's lifetime since it one tapped. The portal gun glitches were pretty fun to mess with in my opinion, but not too op since you could always use x-ray and wall break against them. Other worthy mentions are the scattershot weapons like big b's oven, bedivere, and cerberus, that annoying alien bug gun, literally anything that has grapple, the invis gadget, the reflector, the metal clan armor reflection, and the elemental set reflection pre-nerf. Sly wolf was another one, the time watch gadget, eraser, any dash weapon, cashbacks, and any weapon that had bullets that stuck to walls on impact were annoying specifically in flag capture too. When I played it, there were always new op weapons coming out, but they always got nerfed after a while. My loadout was Viking, Thunderer, Heroic epee, (also kind of broken because that regen could save your butt) Poison Darts, (ice king's for noobs lol) Heavy Sniper Rifle, (never got on the punisher train) and originally demo exo, but the capacity got nerfed, so I swapped to royal ashbringer. If I had to point out the one problem that most people never knew the game had, it would be the efficiency ratings. Just because the devs decided to not put an actual damage number on each gun, nobody who plays and does not have access to the internet is absolutely clueless as to what guns are any good. So I could see that causing a lot of people to leave. The game was nice while it lasted in the short time I knew the community, but I guess all good things eventually meet their end. I also totally cheated. Being low-level sucks, so I bought an auto-clicker, set up a switch control thing for co-op, and farmed monsters with pandora's box.
My childhood used to be so fun whenever I played video games, especially with this game. I used to love it so much, and I even have the Golden minigun as of late. This downfall made me think back to the good ol` days, and it's sad how they resorted to the deadly microtransactions.
I wish this game lived to evolve, but instead I see it getting stuck in an endless limbo of a current-day greedy microtransaction hell.
Pixel Gun 3D used to be my favorite game ever since 2014. I've been playing every day until 2017 when I grew up and got bored. Got back recently but quit after the game got pay to win.. Good old times 😢

tbh i just like driving around and exploring the open world map i don't know why but it just feels so good it gives me lofi vibes sense of freedom and the urge to explore and discover things don't get me wrong i like playing other modes too but my personal favourite has to be the open world.

It was around when they added the Battle Royale mode that younger me realized it was going downhill and fast.
The nostalgia of sitting on the couch watching Bigby and play pixel gun 3d. I loved the maps pool party... siege... island paradise and you can't forget emperors Palace. I loved the game. A slight thought that slips into my mind just makes me reminisce of all the memories I had about the game.

God man pixel guns was my favourite mobile game as a kid but after they started adding heaps and heaps of micro transactions it really fell off. Sad to see it in the state it’s in.
I used to remember there were some servers on pixel gun 3d where people chats "No Kill", especially this happens on that beach hotel with a lighthouse mal and for some reason we roleplay there😭. It was fun and i miss playing this game
Honestly ima miss this game. You always been a real one bro all the memories of the overdrive clan and cvcs. Its time to move on though were growing up and thats something we can't change. As we get older we start to lose interest in things we once enjoyed. The saddest part is we can never go back. Its alright though we all gonna make it brah 💪 💯

I actually remember playing this game along side minecraft and block city wars but what I love about this game was that it had pretty unique maps for everyone to use from wide open maps with very little ammo making fights intense to parkour maps floating with plenty of ammo and you had to watch your step it also featured maps from the campaign which I really loved mainly because each one had a very eerie soundtrack, the story was awesome but as for the multiplayer I miss playing with my friends we'd always do survival or straight up pvp good times,,

When it comes to block shooters, the top 4 most iconic ones, pixel gun, cops n robbers, block city wars and pixel strike.
Each had their issues which are either still present or are resulting in the game's death.
While I think each game had/has its stand out features eg;
pg3d's graphics, variety of weapons, game modes
Cnr's workshop feature and extremely good replayability.
Pixel strike's gameplay and f2p model
And block city war's GTA style gameplay and graphics.
Though, each of these game's strong points, were a few of its downfalls..
Pg3d, the unbalanced state of the game and p2w
Cnr, the unbalanced state of customs, cards the game is slowly turning p2w
Block city wars, became over-run with hackers and was overrun to the point of where the devs, just gave up and abandonded the game
And pixel strike, its gameplay while solid is extremely buggy, obvious bugs aren't being fixed and the dev's main focus, while yes this is cosmetic, are battle passes.
Each has their flaws, at the beginning till the midtime of their lives, they were fantastic games but accross the board, all the games listed, the devs either became fixated with monetization, adding new broken sht with no fixes for weeks and ignoring their community entirely.
Its sad all of these games have turned sour in places, but the memories outlive the modern version for me and many others.

I watched old Pixel Gun TH-camrs named Kai BuscusHD and Exxotic, I still watch Kai Buscus and he had great reasons why he stopped playing. I think he said was a 2013 or 2014 og player and he said the game always had tons of players, he when gems got added it he said that’s when he knew the pay to win era has gone and he said the storm hammer was a first pay to win weapon. He also said hackers weren’t the prime issue it was the op weapons and pay to win era. He said also Pixel Gun could have easily been next to fortnite mobile but the 3 cat spam and pay to win, is what ultimately pushed og players anyway. And another he said “basically to survive in Pixel Gun now a days is if your a og with already built armory and if your new to Pixel Gun trying to grind its impossible because you start seeing op weapons and pay to wins players around level 7
It sucks because he got me into in PG3D and I joined when the pay to win was beginning to peak and I stopped playing 8 months in and just continued to watch instead of playing. Sorry this is long but it’s sad because Pixel gun was my favorite to watch and it sucks to see the downfall too
I'm a pg 3D player from 2016 and the game was so good I started to play it everyday, I even started to act like a TH-camr. That shows how good that game was! In 2020 tho, the game just turned into a downward spiral. I hated 2016, but old PG3D makes me just like it a little bit, I want 2014-2017 PG3D back, I really do...

The devs are really desperate to revive this game. They’re copying all the new games that are popular or trending. They added an Among us mode. Unbelievable. Battle pass. They even copied tap and plays like clash of clans.
I still remember playing this game a lot during its early stages up until I got most of my weapons obliterated after one of the major overhaul updates

I stopped playing around the time the infamous 3 cat spam trick was nerfed. I think I just got bored and moved on to other games. I’m about to download it again and relive the golden days. I was OG with this game. I’ve had it since August 11, 2013 (I know cause I looked back at my App Store purchases and it shows the date). Man those days were so fun playing with friends, all those iconic maps, waiting to see if another chapter got added to campaign, and all the skins I made, made it feel like a fun alternative to Minecraft and even terraria
I learned to min max in games when they introduced the diamonds and i knew there was no other way to get it other than to pay or to finish the campaign. I gave up my max account by then and i had like 4-5 retries of the campaign not to get all the three stars (was still difficult in some maps cus i played it with a fresh account so really weak guns) but to carefully pick which gun to buy and what to upgrade, i remember thinking really hard if i should buy and upgrade the prototype sniper or that green sniper that can penetrate walls… but the earliest memory of me playing pixel gun was just camping at the rooftop of that zombie map with the 4 buildings.
The fb group pixel gun was also a delight, i had a lot of heated discussions there and thats probably where my grammar skills actually improved a lot. When you really love the game, you will remember the creators name no matter how unfamiliar it is and how many terminologies you’ve memorized throughout your school years lol, alex krasnov.
2013 player here. I downloaded the game on my hand-me-down iPhone 4S about 10 years ago now. Although I don't remember much, I do remember my brother and I playing this game together. I enjoyed how simple it was for my childish brain. I remember Knife Party being the hangout spot for my brother and I, and I remember us sharing the same account. The Automatic Peacemaker in late 2014, and us spending hours upon hours attempting to get enough coins to get it. Nowadays, I look back on how I had felt, rather than the quality of the game. I wish I could go back, and enjoy it now as I did back then.
started playing this game when i accidently downloaded on an ipad in october 2013, and i looked at it and went, "ohh minecraft with guns" so i gave it a shot, not long after i discovered glitches, and also gotten really good at the game with great gear, years later i lose my data in the game and decided to not return, and then years later i miss the nostalgia and decided to return around 2018, i expected a new player experience where players with beginners weapons would fight against players that also have beginner weapons, but no its full of players with overpowered gear thats mostly pay to win, i quit the game due to the pay to win players having the upperhand.
You forgot to talk about the top tier players toxicity as well as the sandbox abuse of everything.
The game basically killed itself as well as it's own community.
The upgrade mechanic ruined the game for me. As a f2p player, I don't see how I'm supposed to upgrade my whole loadout every time I level up (every 10 games or so), considering upgrading a legendary weapon costs 130 coins and upgrading a mythical costs 200. The game simply isn't fun when I spend half of the time watching ads for coins so my weapons can actually deal some damage and I'm still too broke to afford new ones
Man I remembered the ender eye wand that can wallbang and track people through the walls, oh and it also had infinite ammo as well
As someone who started on the Christmas 2014 update I can say that the absolute peak was 2014-2015, 2016 was meh, and after that it was unplayable. HOWEVER! I am playing a lot nowadays due to the fact that cubic games is actually trying. I mean my loadout is the least competitive ever, I mean my favorite weapon is a legendary crossbow cuz they butchered the prototype psr 1 sound effect and I still use the katana despite it being way past it’s prime days. I just hate how little variety there is nowadays, be honest and think about how many times you’ve seen these items being used.

The op ice ghost lantern that has instant contact

The tron gun
There are probably more examples but it’s insane that even with the amazing variety of weapons people stick to these few items. And yeah there has always been op guns but at least they were guns like the big buddy that was just a regular gun that shot a nuke, I feel like every new gun has some sort of ability that is extremely unnecessary, like who hired Dr. Doofenshmirtz to create the bug-inator 3000, I’m not even that mad because it’s funny as heck and isn’t super overused but why do we stay as bugs for 3 hours, c’mon man, just do like 5 seconds or something. But perhaps I’m biased due to the fact I was spoiled by the gaming legend that was pg3D during the peak. And even then it’s thankfully not as bad, I just hope they continue on fixing what’s been done and hopefully bring back the good old days eventually, end communication.
Oh btw forgot to mention the terrible new upgrading system which really needs a fix when it comes to leveling up and cost, the fact that armor doesn’t even act like armor and is just your main Hp, and the fact they prioritize making new op mythicals instead of fixing the game directly.
Who remembers og ghost lantern where it was one tap on release and you could also switch between guns to skip the cool-down?

I remember when the default skin had sunglasses and when the Prototype sniper was the best gun. I miss maps such as Sky Islands, Space Station, Parkour City and Utopia. The Slenderman campaign mission was so scary and cool to me at the time as well
I remember playing around 2016-2018ish and does anyone else remember the old tutorial and the phoenix being the like the tips guy at the bottom of the screen when you loaded into a level and you could actually get access to every feature like all the gamemodes and maps I miss old Pixel gun 3D

I remember playing this game, removing the bloated amount of micro transactions, balancing changes to the gear and weapons and in my opinion a change to paid access to google play and a port to steam or GOG that’s paid would be a good start to a revive, the game is made with unity so porting the game won’t be entirely impossible only certain changes need to be done in theory.
I remember the old days of playing the campaign on my big ass clunky nook device. And being so hype when id get a gun from the chests and raging at the multiplayer. Truly those were the days

I remember the first “meta” I ever really experienced was the pulse rifle I think?
Even then, there were so many weapons you could usually find a decent enough counter, and the guns performance were often based on skill and not the weapons dmg. It also probably helped that it was easy to grind for coins and gems, especially for the good players.
I still occasionally hop into pg3d but it just don’t feel that fun anymore. I could just be nostalgia tripping, but it still really sucks tbh.

I was an og player (I remember the days when the first Christmas weapons were released) and over the years, I've been on and off when it comes to the game. I've made like six different accounts and my last time playing the game was early this year. The game has become too pay 2 win and has been plagued by poor matchmaking. Both are problems which I'm sure they cannot or will not fix.
After my last time deletion of the game from my phone, I won't be downloading it again. It's clear that the game is not dedicated to skill (although the 3-cat spam meta is cancer in my opinion) and the game is now focused on power weapons over skill or actual fun. It's not fun to get killed by someone at an extremely higher level then you and it's not fun to kill people with higher tier weapons all the time because it gets boring and repetitive very quickly.
I also think the grindy nature of the game has killed any pacing for newer players. Such a grind has only been made worse by the season passes and the parts.
I remember a time when casuals like myself could have fun in the game. Even in matches filled with competitive players, I felt like I was on an even playing field. Now I'm seeing even the competitive players leave because they aren't having fun.
Overall, I don't recommend Pixelgun 3d in its current status to anyone. You'll either find your childhood memories bashed in with reminders that the latest weapon, that will get nerfed later on, is on sale for twelve dollars, or you won't have fun or find anything in the game to keep your attention.

i reccommend using a script for videos instead of just thinking of words to say, it makes it easier to say things without a 3-5 second pause randomly while thinking

I tried to play it again but they had deleted my account. It was linked to Game Center but my progress was wiped. I had spent money on the game too, I think I bought a pack with the gold minigun skin. The account support discord server did not help at all. This game used to be so good though. It even inspired the name of my roblox account.
