Thank you Rayn. Been building selfbow for 3 years now with many ups and downs - but what a journey!
The serving part intrigueds me. Going to try it. Your continued passion for primitive Archery amazes me. Thanks for your wholehearted shearing of your knowledge...

Ryan, thanks for your method for the counter twist for the bottom loop. That's the thing I was struggling with.

Such a great instructional video! I am close to finishing my 1st self made bow from a red oak I cut last year. Currently floor tillering and I need to make a bow string. I’m going to apply your method here. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.

Ryan, I've seen this serving style on your Primitive Model and I wondered for a while how you did it. Thank you for demonstrating.

Quick question, how do you tell if a tree is a hard wood? I know next to nothing of trees. Still have the copper bracelet. Love it.

Awesome! Have never seen a string served this way. How does it hold up compared to other serving being that the two main bundles are a part of the serving? Very interested in trying this! Thanks again Ryan for another great and informative video!!!

Many years ago I lived on the Indian reservation and while I was there I learned to weave I knew exactly what you were gonna do when you put that string on your leg because that's the exact same way that you build a base for the strings for anything that you might weave on a traditional loom kind of interesting to see how similar both processes are

Do an arrowhead speedrun where you try and make an arrowhead as fast as possible and then at the end go kill a deer or something with it to confirm that it can be used in hunting even though it was made as fast as possible but still with the intent to kill your prey.

Arrows are a combination of shoots and Phragmites reed.No scales or spine meters and they all shoot good. Please for the sake of authenticity keep it simple.Apart from that it was Ok
