I was so against getting back to healing since I have started to play DF again but then I saw your guide on Prevoker and I decided I would give it a try. And now it is my best geared hero and made me enjoy the healing again. So thank you.
I LOVE your content. Especially the way you talk makes it relatable and fun. I’m gonna try to get to 2k with 4 healers this season. I consider hpal unplayable. Resto druid is by far the easiest. The sustained healing and grove guardian burst healing is NUTS. Can hit 14mil during a boss fight no problem. MW is def more fun, and if you are in trouble you can vivify spam. Disc priest def can heal a lot but you need to know the fights this will be the next healer I go to 2k with. Resto shaman is definitly under rated. You have a lot of tools to carry the group which is always helpful when you are carrying.
17:56 is exactly how I pugged my holy priest to 2900 & aotc in season 3. I've been running lightweaver + miracle worker and I swear it's the best pug healer. I also run holy word life or whatever instead of the +3% to heals. That with serenity and powerful "heals" and flash heals due to the +20% to all healing on targets below 50%, literally no one dies in my groups unless they get one shot based on their own stupidity or lack of awareness. It's such a strong healer. I completed a 24 Tyrant rise and fall this last week with bursting ... Did like 255k+ overall heals and 60k dps. Felt like a God tier healer in those runs. Got a +2 and a +3 on those keys... People are just too afraid to vier away from the meta builds and specs. Play what works for you.
Yooo! I played with your resto shaman in a Throne of Tides! You were insane as the group made a good chunk of mistakes. Still timed it and slapped it though
Just recently came back to retail and I was really starting to struggle pugging anything in the 16-18 range. Then I hopped into a 20 with my guild mates and can honestly say it was easier than any key below that where I pugged it. Pulls where I struggled to keep everyone up in pugs I more or less was able to DPS. Really surprised me how much easier or harder your DPS make the key.
I’ve found that the hardest keys are anything lower than a 17 because the players start scraping the bottom of the barrel. I time 28s and then fail in 12s lol
I like that you pointed out that first point about the quality of runs diminishing as the season gets older. I noticed it too, but being 1 person just couldn't sure it wasn't just in my head. I really noticed it just today, trying to get a lunch run going which I have done numerous times. People with rating and gear, just not seeming to really know what is going on. A casual 18 run used to be a fall asleep run, now its just sloppy. Still time them, with ease. But its sloppy, and it could easily fall apart. I was trying to push on aug but often had weeks I was just busy IRL or playing other characters for fun (and fun comes first). I am over 3k and wanted more, but just can't bring myself to do it much anymore. I always keep missing forti weeks too, all my highest keys are tyrannical and I have enough low forti keys I could gain 100 rating just getting them done in one week.

Hit 3k on my shaman 3 weeks ago, played more priest. I got 3k today on priest so just gonna push my monk from 2.8 too. Paladin will be last... Does not seem fun atm. But yeah, quality is so much worse generally, im really starting to have an extra look on dps when i have a tank. Alot of people getting carried or just stuck at 20-23..

I've pugged myself to 3.2k as preservation this tier. Sometimes I'm sitting in groupfinder for hours but I wanna prove to pugs we still exist besides Aug. Scalies rise
To the point of people outgearing the content due to late season/ end of expansion: The worst is people with Fyr"alath (legendary axe). People get good RNG on loot and hero/myth track vaults and join high m+ keys. They are an absolute ball and chain for the team, no knowledge of the class/no interrupt, no LOS, stands in red etc etc. With the revival catalyst being once per week now it only bolster this behavior in the player base. insane gear and no knowledge to match it. ruining high key runs. It's a tricky time to be pugging atm.
great guide would be nice if you could do a how to heal each boss for season 3 like you did in season 2, i'm just starting out a prevoker and struggling would love to get the full hc set as the green and bronze is really cool.

It makes sense that the later in the season you get, the more you struggle, all those people that started off with lower skill level have now struggled their way up to 20s and higher. This season especially cause it’s REALLY easy to get 3k score if you’re just playing one character. The “good” players are now running 28s with their own teams, or have just stopped playing altogether for the season. I personally find going for the title a useless waste of time. So imma stop once a character hits 3k and play something else. Most of my friends i play with usually are already done and stopped playing. So i’m in pug hell again. I was doing 20s week2 on like 4 characters successfully, and now im failing 20s, failed 3-4 keys last week. That’s with better gear, more knowledge and nerfed dungeons.

I main hpal and I'm currently at 3.1k it doesn't look like you're running a lot of the talents that I'm using is that a preference thing or are you not sure which talents are the best for hpal currently? Not trying to criticize just genuine question.
The truth is that more and more people buy boosts to max lvl then M+ boosts or raids and have geared characters and don't even know what skils they have. I recently came across a 475 warrior doing 60k DPS at aoe and 35-45 single target. Drama I make more in heal. Guy didnt know even single tactic in m+ and 0 interupts He stood in everything possible and asked why I was not healing him.
Aug is just a hard Cary at this point. People did the math and a perfectly played Aug is still 20% of a dps loss over all for the team in a key. They are there just for the obsidian scales health and eons shield. I refuse to take an Aug in any of my keys now.

Just reach 3k as hmonk pug… half my run one or more dps are a pain; 22 24 they sometimes still dont know boss strat; get carried by ekili rotation die with turtle or pal bubule available and cant kick. Tank are mostly fine because they cant reach that key without any dungeon knowledge like dps. I bet its same with most healer; we have to know dungeon to use cd and save those trash dps.
I miss instant radiance on disc. it was life-saver with pugs It is hard to catch-up party mistakes on disc I only play up to ksh (hpal and disc) and I find the lack of Shining Force and Silence on the Priest healer frustrating.Holy paly has better cc toolkit than priest I really hope all healers get baseline interrupt and cc in War Within Sadly Holy paladin is severely undertuned this season Do you not have mana issues in M+? As an mglad player (11 glad seasons) starting back in legion, who just started pve this season (because of how trash the mmr is in arena right now), im 2757 in m+ on unholy and OH MY GOD how are so many PvE players who ONLY do PvE so terrible?? This video hit me right in the feels. At least 1 dps just not knowing mechanics all the way up to like 24s, not understanding the basics of how rotations change from trash to bosses. My god i understand why people dont want my UHdk in keys, because non-meta specs ontop of the player base being mostly mouth breathers absolutely kills keys. Once i get my legendary axe im going to go Dh and push 3k. I have no clue how people struggle with this part of the game, as dps because my god its easy, but i understand looking in going “Is it me?” Until you look at details to dmg taken or cc broken or deaths and realize its always the rogue or warrior 😂
I would like to see the worst runs. Where you did your best and the group is so bad that they leave. Just to know it happens to the great healers, too. Or doesn‘t it ? 🤷♂️

It's 100% the DPS you picked up from Ragnaros who thinks thy're entitled to a free run while standing in every fire possible. Most of the people running M+ simply aren't good. There is a palpable expression of mechanical ignorance from a lot of people in the game right now and this issue is likely pushed to an ever further extreme now that Blizzard is selling Raid-Ready character boosts. There are people hopping in to M+ with fresh characters, not actually understanding how to play them.

Heal Pala Main here, i agree. It is even worse in Raid. Like i raid log 95%+ every Boss and cant outheal green loggin MW Monks.

It really opens your eyes on how much damage is actually avoidable because by pure logic a +20 HAS to be more difficult than a +18 for example.

the amount of people (especially hunters) that use an important defensive to run through electric eels in throne is extremely triggering as a healer

the friendliness has gone up since more and more people are trying out m+ due to the changes blizzard have done to it especially during dragonflight
