I hope you had a fun time watching his films! Those two are my personal favourites 😁 If you haven't seen 'In The Mood For Love' I would also highly recommend it :)
A girl I liked several months ago recommended his movies to me. I had Thursdays off and so I made one of those nights a “Wong Kar Wai Wednesday” where I watched Chungking Express, Fallen Angels, and In The Mood for Love all in the same night. If I had to use one word to describe the experience I’d say intoxicating. In The Mood for Love started playing just after midnight and the mood was perfect all around. Although things didn’t work out with the girl, I still thanked her for introducing me to one of my new favorite directors.
I'm really glad you got to experience his movies. I'm also happy that you have fond memories attached to them! I hope you have blessed day my friend :)
I recently watched the movie out of curiosity and it left a huge impact within myself. At first I thought the film served as for aesthetic purposes but turns out otherwise. The way the film was shot kinda made it more vulnerable and relatable to the viewer, in addition to the interior spaces reflecting “real lifestyle” for instance clutter, etc. Overall, I cannot express how moving this movie was, I’ve never seen something like this, quite refreshing, and rather it being filled by scriptwritings, it was able to manipulate the viewer’s emotions by an astonishing visuals.
this might be the best thing i've watched for years. thank you very much for this kind of video, i still cannot believe someone could explain feelings that fallen angels gives me this precisely omg. you are incredibly underrated and i'm glad youtube algorithms recommended your video to me
Thank you my friend! They happen to be some of my favourite Pixar themes and I can't help but notice your profile picture I'm really excited to see Deadpool 3 :)
As Asians what i see these movie tells a lot about evolution of love that mostly happens to us, the pure love we feel towards parents, when we 1st time fall in love and heartbroken, when loves blend with obsession and sex it slowly creates destructive habit (aka fangirling goes wrong), and last when we're adult, busy with working we realize that we need a life partner, more than that, we need a "normal happy life" that Asian's parents dictate.
Thank you so much for such an amazing visual essay on my favorite film. The last scene in which they are riding through a tunnel resembles the walk inside the spaceship in 2001: A Space Odyssey, and the tunnel ride from Tarkovsky's Solaris.
more importantly, thank you for watching!! I really appreciate the kind sentiment my friend :D I am also delighted to know that you had a nice experience
I rarely comment, however; dude, you're hella underrated. I especially love your style of editing for video essays. it's prob one of my fav films by wkw, second being chungking express (how original) anyways, do keep making more content like this, I recommend to look into more wkw films if you wish to!
That is very sweet of you to say thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I love chungking express too I will definitely make a video on it one day :)
Love this video. I couldn't help but crack up when I realized that a piano version of Oogway Ascends from the Kung Fu Panda OST was playing in the background 😂 Elite taste!!
I want to find movie like this but must be japanese or korean. Except Park Chan Wook I've watched all movies from him, if anyone can suggest me I would be very happy. Thanks
Guys please tell me where can i watch this movie its been on my list forever but i just cannot find it anywhere also i cannot see it on prime video so please tell...😭😭⭐
Yes of course I will do that for you! Quick question is the caption feature not working because usually TH-cam generates subtitles automatically but creators can also add subtitles themselves If the auto-caption feature doesn't work for you I will happily add the subtitles myself :) Thank you for your kind words I really appreciate you watching

Thank you for letting me know my friend I will fix this issue very soon for you! :D
Do you have to have long pauses in every sentence?
....yes.
I appreciated his pausing. His intellectual and sensual maturity shined throughout the video. I learned alot from listening to him. Subscribed.
