Good pick ups there mate, particularly the ps3 controller and mario kart. It makes me laugh when people say that they'll sell the items on ebay if they don't get what they want or they say its worth this on ebay. Well they shouldn't bring them to a boot fairs as ebay has a returns process and boot fairs don't.

Cheers mate! Yeah find it quite funny as well. You get it every week that’s for sure! I mean I can kind of understand it because those people clearly don’t sell at the boot sales all the time so how else are they going to judge their prices. I did go back later and they lowered the price of mario kart to £5 and the others to £3 which was a bit fairer! Thanks for watching 👍🏻🕹
@@j1m909 makes me laugh too mate. Always interesting hearing people talk in the background when I’m walking around the boot sale. Heard “I couldn’t look them in the eye because I know it’s going straight on eBay.” as I walked past a table on Sunday.

Great finds Mitch! Some bargains there & your bang on with the old ps1 games 50p-£1 pick ‘em up for the cases alone, fifa 18 & 19 are the best finds £12-16 for them… nice finds on your dvds pal all adds up….

Yeah always good to have some decent cases just in case! To be honest I didnt know about Fifa 19 on PS3 or Xbox. Chop in value on Fifa 19 @ CEX is £30!! haha mate the change situation is here to stay I think... What with editing, going to boot sales and working full time last thing I want to do is go down the bank and ask for change hahah who knows maybe one day i'll have change!

That PS1 game you bought that has no cracks on the case but lots of scratches can be made to look new again! Buy some T-Cut car polish/scratch remover and you can make scratched PS1 cases look brand new again. I do this with all the cases in my collection!

Haha for sure! Well I have another boot sale near me that is open until December and then there is another one that is a tad further but it’s open all year round as it’s a late starter and it’s on a concrete car park so i’ll still be able to get some footage but probably not as much as in the summer. To be honest mate I used to a while back loved WOW classic and other MMO’s but all the newer games seem to be P2W or just of no interest to me. I am kind of interested in “The Day Before” as I really enjoyed the division games and this is meant to be like that but with zombies however release date has been pushed back til March next year. But to answer your question I’m not playing any games online currently.

Cheers! I know mental ain’t it. There’s a boot sale near me that’s open til December and there’s another in Leigh on sea which is all year round so i’ll make do with them until they reopen in March 👍🏻🕹

I hear this a lot about prices at carboots, if people want to sell at ebay prices or less than ebay prices, no problem, it's less hassle than buying on ebay, you see the item physically before you purchase (better than buying online or in cex) and you have the option to try and barter. People seem to think that bootsales exist purely to supply ebay resellers, and they don't. It's better to buy at a bootsale than online / ebay / in cex and most times you can still find good deals
I get your point but I would disagree that it’s less hassle than buying on eBay, you can order the game from the comfort of your sofa and most listings have plenty of pictures for you to check condition/manuals etc. like I said for mario kart as an example I think £5 is a fair price (I wouldn’t buy it at that price as a trader/reseller) the game is around £10 online. I would much rather spend £10 online than wake up at 6am spend petrol money and entrance to get to a boot sale only to buy the game for £8.50? That’s just my opinion though. Thanks for watching 👍🏻🕹
@@retro_rummage_ it's swings and roundabouts, I love the thrill of hunting at booters and in charity shops, from experience with lost packages, dodgy resellers on ebay and the like I don't ever really buy online anymore
Yeah I make you right mate I also love the hunt but never seem to find games I actually want at bootsales or charity shops. That’s why I do what I do so I can get them at CEX for a bit cheaper 👍🏻🕹
