Great video! One insight we've had when developing our app is the added benefit of including an extra language in the MVP version. By doing everything in English, you're competing with all the big and well-developed apps. In our case, we added Spanish to our pre-MVP and it really boosted our numbers drastically in South America. It suddenly unlocked a huge portion of the population who did experience the problem, yet they didn't have any competing apps to help them solve it. The feedback from these users was super useful to further develop the app, especially so early on (and we could easily communicate using DeepL).
Thanks, that is a great point, a good way to niche down and make it even more relevant for a smaller more specific group. If I was going to challenge it a bit I would say, sure you can do that, but then you skip English. No MVP with multiple languages, pick the ONE that gets you to where you want to go.
What certainly helps is to have somebody on your team who actually has the problem you're trying to solve for the user. This makes a much faster feedback cycle.
Awesome!!! Thank you. Im terrified of someone with more money and soeed ripping off my idea. How can we protect ,and should we do this before creating the MVP?
This is very valuable information guys! Thank so so much! I just sent today my first app review to the app store, so hopefully I won’t fall into any of these traps 🙏🏻
This video was incredibly informative, and I love your content and insights on these topics. I honestly think your content is very underrated! It would be very interesting and informative if you made a video on how you actually started to launch your app, what the costs are for hosting, and keeping it up and running, and how you went from the idea to the finished app in a more technical sense! Thank you for the videos and much love!
Hi Heini! Loved this video. Super inspiring and it really hits the nail on the head in terms of many of the app-related discussions I find myself in 🙂 Thanks!
I am a first mover on my app concept and its getting funding but. I do need a quick Q and A with you. Do you meet other online professionals? Id love just 5 minutes on a zoom call.

Very true, thank you
My product is perfect. Been building for 10+ years and the niche market is growing rapidly (retired astronauts). I just need to meet one now.
That is funny 😂 Good Luck!

Thanks, it is really hard for me to find the time to meet with people that need help.
Do you do reviews of decks and go to market strategies? I would love your thoughts and feedback on the app we are building
Thanks, I'm afraid I just don't have the time to do so.
Interested as well!

Hi, your content is really awesome. Can you upload one video regarding , startup exit and acquisition
Thanks, I will add that to the list and you just gave it a bump up.
How long does it take to make an app? can I do it in 2 weeks?
Another mistake for builders is putting the tech first before the problem. If nobody is buying don’t build a freaking backend that scales
Classic mistake!
