Another 1Anitrasdance posting of a great player. I’ve met him several times in different venues: told him he is a flat out national treasure - super nice guy - keep bringing it to us Chris - you never disappoint! 👍🏻😎
Tuning? Japanese little strats from the 90s beat any expensive modern gibsons. And pre CBS strats. Man Gibson's are fashionable since a few years but I wouldn t f...k with one even to save my life. These guitars suck. But fender, he was a genious
@@julienguillaume5010 Well Julien, I certainly respect your view on that but there are a hell of a lot of great guitarists who would strongly disagree with you. While there are a huge number of other great guitars out there nowadays, Gibson have always been highly respected, and still are quite rightly. Yes, they are suffering from the same rising costs as everyone else and that means the quality of some ranges is being adjusted downwards to keep them affordable, but they are still great instruments. The same thing is happening to Fender and, since the "old wood" ran out, their instruments have had to accept compromises. And, only as a personal taste thing because I have great respect for them too, I wouldn't be caught dead playing a Strat! ;^)
@@patrickdugan2929 Sorry Patrick but I really don't see how "the player", top class though he is, can influence the way the guitar stays in tune when a string breaks. Are you saying he is tensioning the neck as he plays in order to compensate exactly for the lost tension of the broken string? (...and yes, I'm just teasing.)
I broke the high E string on a Collings City Limits the other night, and was stunned at how little impact it had on the remaining strings. I was able to finish the song and play two more before the set finished. I’ve never had a guitar stay in tune like that before. Of course, I only wish I could play like Cain… but that’s another story for another time… 😅
How does this not have thousands of likes?
The man is an absolute treasure,
I wasn't that drunk when I listened to it that's why.

Scat Man lol.. exact thought .. you beat me to it ☮️✊🏼
At 4:33 the keyboard and guitar have a little discussion
The tuning is remarkable on that guitar. Broken string and no detune at all. Now what is it they always say about Gibsons?

Its the man not the tool. Gibson's are great but Cain is Special!
