Jon. Speaking of your old pond and if your looking for new video ideas, I’m sure all of us would love a pond update video of your old one. Keep living the dream your killing it man!
Kayak series Saint John river system in Maine and New Brunswick. Muskies, smallmouth bass, striped bass, pickerel, Sturgeon and largemouth all in one large river system.
Love everything you do jon, from fishing acsents through editing allowing for a cool video experience and having a mind to your own life and to the viewers I love fishing alot more cause of the experience to see your journey take some fun routes even if u don't catch its somthing we learn that day.
Jon, a kayak mission up in MN would be crazy. Lake Superior has the St. Louis river which holds the world record Tiger Muskie, and the Nipigon which holds the world record Brook Trout. The St. Louis also has some huge Walleyes. Can't vouch for Lake Superior tributaries enough. The St. Croix is a good option just due to the muskies and the smallmouth alone. They have some giants in there. Another idea would be the white river in Arkansas for the brown trout.
I live 10 minutes from the St Croix and fish it probably once every couple weeks. It for sure has some big smallmouth and muskie/northerns, or even decent sturgeon if you try for them. I had a musky on a ned rigged craw a couple weeks ago, did not expect that.
we need to protect our Great Lakes AT ALL COSTS! I know this is off topic and highly political, but there will be a day when people out west from Texas, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada will want to build a pipeline and STEAL our water. We can't let this happen. Greetings from Michigan BTW!
Jacob, the world record Muskie, not a tiger, was caught on Lake Vermillion! MN truly is the best lake. We have pulled in 3 on Bald Eagle lake here ONLY ON FROGS! I love this state.
Would love to see you come up to Minnesota! Whether you head all the way up north to the most peaceful lakes in the boundary waters, or cast some concrete near the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area!
Loved the video, hope you get some rain down there, it’s looking a little dry. The difference between Texas and the Midwest is like night and day, it’s all lush and green up north.
i would love a late summer send with kayak and camping in VT, oe NH mountains or along the alleghash in Maine. but geeked up for a kayak @ camping series anywhere
Jon. Do some offshore fishing out of the kayak !! Football bluefin tuna. False albacore, bluefish. Right here in maine. We can mothership you offshore and catch and cook haddock and maybe a halibut. 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
I live in the minneapolis area and the kayak fishing opportunities here are amazing. The Mississippi has huge smallies + walleye, the st croix is awesome for smallies, not to mention all the urban lakes with monster largemouth (Bde, Harriet, Nokomis). Would be great for a few videos actually
Crazy dry in Ma also fishing is real tough unless you go deep sea fishing but all my local ponds/lakes are 3-4 ft lower than normal. Btw what’s under the cover in the boat house
Would love to see you come fish the grand river here in Grand Rapids. They got just about everything and all sorts of different ways to fish it. Would really help me out because I’m looking for some new ways to fish in my area.
Jon, I would like to see a multi day kayak and camp trip on the Wisconsin River. As you know, the Wisconsin River is an absolute multi species beast and always seems to give up surprise catches every time I personally fish it. It’s hands down my personal favorite fishery. Would love to see that👍🎣 …Fish on
Snake river in Idaho! I loved the last river send and of course all of the videos. I'd love to see you float the Snake River and explore all it's hidden gems.
I would love to see an Appalachian river kayak mission. The Nolichucky and French Broad are absolutely gorgeous but they are definitely a challenge to navigate and fish. As you head north the fishing gets better and the navigation gets easier. Shenandoah, New River, Potomac, and James River are all very interesting fisheries but I think the fishing is even better as you head north to NY and PA. Allegheny is of course my favorite and probably the most productive but the Susquehanna, Chemung, Delaware, and Monongahela are all very productive kayak fisheries as well. Not to mention, the true hidden gems are some of the tributaries to these rivers. I live near the Conewango (Allegheny trib), there is an amazing kayak trail system along it thats a 3 day journey. River is full of bass, walleye, pike, and muskie. With all of that said, the mid-Atlantic rivers like the New River or the Shenandoah (and/or their tribs) might be the best of both worlds in terms of decent fishing and epic scenery.
I absolutely loved the devils river kayak video. That is what originally drew me to watching your channel and subscribing. Love kayaking, fishing, and camping.
U should try San Juan River which comes off Navajo Dam in New Mexico. Then the local lakes on the Navajo Nation Reservation which you havent fished YET. That be awesome!
A multi-part kayak series going down a length of a river catching different species would be awesome! Maybe a multi country trip too like start in Cananda and end in U.S.
Allagash waterway north woods Maine would be a great kayak trip and convenient for you. Ontario also has tons of good trips joe Robinet has done some very cool videos up there.
Jon you need to hit up the allagash river in northern Maine tons of fishing and camp sites along the river. Great canoe and kayaking trip. And if or when you get to the allagash falls I heard they have some pretty big musky. Keep up the great content.
Allegheny River over the years of fishing the river, the Kinzua spillway and the Allegheny reservoir we have caught some gorgeous smallmouth bass!! It a huge water source from the reservoir to the river with some absolute beautiful sceneries!
Once you get a chance, you should take a trip to Cooperstown New York, fish The Otsego lake, you can stay at a cabin and fish for smallmouth and trout, maybe even walleye… It is a very very fun experience I recommend you try
It’d be very worth it to head over to Oregon and fish the rivers and streams up here for beautiful rainbow, brook, lake and brown trout as well as steelhead and salmon. Very beautiful scenery as you do it too.
Hey Jon can you PLEASE come back to Illinois for a couple videos! you should come to the Joliet/Plainfield areas, lots of ponds and rivers to fish! keep up the great work man!
You should try kayak fishing the Colorado River. Lake Powell, Lake mead, willow beach area below the dam, Lake mohave, the river below Davis dam and down into Lake Havasu/Parker AZ. Willow beach below hoover dam produces big trophy sized striped bass, Lake mohave with giant smallmouth. Would be cool. If you come down this way I'd love to get out there with ya and show you around
@@JonBrollin while your in this area come up to the lake mead/mohave. If you wanna catch big double digit striper bring some big trout pattern glide baits.
Jon, if you are interested in doing another river mission, I highly recommend doing a trip out to Colorado. There is so much fly fishing potential here especially with high mountain waters. You can fish the Rio Grande for giant Browns, the Gunnison (specifically around and in Black Canyon) for Big Browns and Rainbows or a side mission to Grand Mesa for Artic Grayling, Tiger trout, full red throated 22 plus inch cutthroat trout and more, or the North Platte has been producing tons of giant browns on hoppers lately. I have been lucky enough to explore tons of these waters lately and if you are interested in any information about any of these rivers please let me know and I would be more than happy to pass along any information!
What about a river in colorado? Colorado, Platte, Arkansas river? Float and fish, camping on the shore, catch and cook, "survival" ish kind of adventure. Just a few days.
Same thing happened to one of my favorite lakes to fish here in California but it only took 2 weeks to dry out and sadly multiple bass cats and blue gills all dead
Five ideas for videos: 1. A "Return Home" themed series. Head back to Illinois and fish the spots you fished when you started. Intercut the current situation with the footage from the old videos. Comment on everything that has changed in your life since the original video(s). Extra points if you include Perrick. 2. Ice fish this winter but include LFG and Lunkers. Watching those two ice fish with you in that situation would be hilarious. 3. Do a collaboration with Mav and Sobi. Sure, bridges were burned between them and AP, but perhaps you can mend those bridges with a collaboration. 4. Fish with Luke from Catfish and Carp/Outdoor Boys. If you really want to do it up, do an extreme camping outing with him in Alaska. OR, just make a collaboration with him a stop on a greater Alaskan adventure. 5. Import a fishing boat from Europe or Asia. Then, film a reaction video when you take it out on a lake in Texas or Maine; Kind of like a Flair video, but more creative and on theme for a fishing youtuber. 6. Get back to your roots and fish the mid-west. 7. Go for trophy catfish on the Mississippi River. 8. Do a decades fishing challenge. Take one bait from the decade it was introduced. Check out the Des Moines river in Iowa. I talked to some locals near fort dodge and they all said it’s loaded with small and largemouth bass, trout, pike, musky and an assortment of panfish. Beautiful water to.
An ocean fishing kayak series where you try to catch as many different species as you can. Somewhere like San Diego, Cabo, or back up in New England. It would also be cool to see a similar concept doing freshwater on the Great Lakes or Minnesota.
for something a bit different try fishing the appalachian trail, pick a waterway to fish every xx amount of miles, always staying close to or on the trail ... definetly a multi-parter ...
The location he’s at was one of my dads old work friends, crazy to watch him fish ponds i fished when i was 6 years old. Favorite Video of Jon B’s 100%
St. Cloud on the sheboygan/Fon du Lac county line in Wisconsin. On the Sheboygan river up river to the sheboygan marsh. Gigantic Sea-Dragons, aka Northern Pike. Or, fish the Sheboygan river for giant small-jaws, small mouth while the salmon run is about to happen. Just my thoughts and experience of what is amazing at the moment. Love your videos. Keep filming, creating, and fishing never stop ;)
Watching this and just thinking about how it looks today with all the rain we got yesterday here in Texas. As I was driving home from work I was glad to see some local ponds full with water again.
Come to Washington and do a series!! I live by lake tapps and they got tiger Muskie, small mouth, large mouth, trout, carp, catfish, etc. all in the one lake
St. Croix River on border of Canada/Maine could be real fun. Paddled that ~10 years ago, crazy clear water, dont know what the fishing is like these days, but there were a lot of smallies and pike
Kayak fishing in the Charles River in MA!! Start in rural central Massachusetts and work your way into the city until you’re literally catching bass in front of the John Hancock building and across the street from Fenway park
At least u can go fishing here all the ponds dried up and after almost 10-11 months it finally rained but it was only a 60 mm and in those 10 months in total with a few drizzles we may have gotten 30mm it has been a dry few years here
Setting the hook like that on a 7 inch bass is insane
Seriously. This guy probably rips the mouth off of half the fish he hooks
We call it laying lumber when we arent laying pipe round hurr(Oklahoma)😂
I was thinking the same thing.
I’m surprised it didn’t fly outta the water towards him with those tugs Jesus Christ lol
U expect him to know the size when he sets the hook? I can tell you dont fish

Kayak series Saint John river system in Maine and New Brunswick. Muskies, smallmouth bass, striped bass, pickerel, Sturgeon and largemouth all in one large river system.
A Kayak series in Minnesota chasing big walleye would be cool to see
🤝😊
A MN boundary waters trip, canoeing and camping, catch and cooks, going after walleye, smallmouth, and pike would make some awesome content!
Hahaha "is that one pregnant?", "nah its just big?" LOVE the content brother, keep on crushing it! You set the bar for EXCELLENT fishing footage!
lmfao thank you man!
Jon asked if she was pregnant and dude goes “nah shes old” ?? lmao

You read my mind when you said kayaking a river in Minnesota! Huge smallmouth and pike/muskie up there. That would be an amazing series to watch.
