Interesting how everyone but Marcus always activated the charge with their left hands until they unlocked the Mega level then they all changed to the right hands.
Warp Digivolving just means skipping a digivolusion in this series, not skipping to Mega. I honestly think that makes more sense and i think this season is arguably better than 1 and 2.
I remember not liking this show's use of the terms "warp-digivolve" and "double-warp digivolve." They visual for the "warp-digivolve" just looked like the Digimon were first going to champion and then to ultimate. The rookie to mega change does look more like a warp-digivolve.
Well to be fair the term Warp was first coined in Japan in the first series with Agumon and Gabumon even though they showed them going to adult and perfect first.
That's actually the whole point. With a Warp Digivolution, the Digimon quickly evolves through each stage individually. With a Double Warp Digivolution, however, they skip the intermediate stages and go straight to the result.
impatientwait Let Me Explain How The English Dub's Exclusive Double Warp Term Is Invented: You Warp Digivolve To Ultimate, But At The Same Time, You're Bypassing Ultimate, And Digivolving From Ultimate Straight From Rookie Means You Add A Second Warp Digivolution To Upgrade The Warp Digivolution Process 1 Step Beyond So That You Are Upgrading To Mega As Well
Actually, that's not the case. Remember that in Digimon Adventure, Agumon and Gabumon would Warp Digivolve to their Mega Levels, showcasing the intermediate stages in the process. To put it simply: Warp Digivolution has the Digimon quickly evolve through each stage individually. Each intermediate stage will be briefly shown during the evolution process. Double Warp Digivolution has them skip the intermediate stages and go straight to the result. The only Digimon shown are the original and the Result (in this case, their Mega Levels).
This season is terrible. You do NOT Double Warp Digivolve unless you somehow bypass the Mega Level. However, they're only getting to the Mega Level. Double Warp Digivolve.... pffft.
Kazakuya in this season when they digivolve from rookie to ultimate, it's warp digivolving due to bypassing champion, so double warp digivolving is a rookie bypassing champion AND ultimate to go straight to mega. In tamers if they scanned a blue card while the digimon is a rookie, the digimon would "warp" digivolve to ultimate, such as "Guilmon, matrix digivolve to, Wargrowlmon." (It's matrix digivolve instead of warp digivolve due to the use of a blue card causing matrix digivolution as it's called in tamers).
Shit your toxic ass up I’m tired of people coming to this not giving it a chance and saying you don’t like it if u don’t like then move your ass to a different video
Honestly, just cause there is a slightly different concept that actually makes more sense to think about, people rag on the show when it is above average at worst. The characters, soundtrack, and story are really good but all people do is compare it to the first season which was good but not some holy grail. It’s really giving Pokémon genwunner energy

Probably to save on animation
Falcomon Was always my fav.

At least it wasnt as braindead as tri that kept on digivolving from rookie to champion to perfect to ultimate

I honestly think they should've called it "Mega Warp" instead of "Double Warp" looking back it now.
No just Warp is fine the Double just doesn’t work
