Well done for digging deep Paul 👏 I can understand the temptation to call it a day when the conditions aren't great 🙄 a long hike with a lot of ups and downs 🏔 so again well done bud 👍
Cheers Brian! Yeah after the first top I could have called it a day.....but looking back I'm glad I stuck with it! I think it would be an amazing walk in the better weather though.....see it next time around! 😁😁cheers again mate. Paul
Cheers John, it was a hard wee day and I did feel a bit nervous on some parts but took my time and it worked out ok 🥴 hopefully some nice blue sky Munros this weekend! Have you been out yet? Paul
Paul, what a shame about the conditions🌧👎 it’s defo a mental challenge doing that long hike mostly in the clag. Glad you saw it thru, I’m sure you’ll get better conditions on your 2nd round of the munros.😜👍 The van is looking super.👍 Cheers for sharing mate. Frank.👍🏔🥾
Well done Paul for sticking to it deffo a long day. The only thing I can remember about this circuit was the stone dyke wall the rest is a blur. Pity about the weather 😕 but the wee van is looking fantastic. ATVB Tam
Cheers Tam! That stone dyke wall is something else! near the top there are stones in the wall that must way close to a tonne! how and why they did that baffles me! Its all a bit of a blur to me too! Paul
Cheers Alan. I was on the verge of heading back but would have been annoyed at myself if I did 🙄 glad I carried on and I enjoyed having the paddy wagon for a wee rest when I got back 🚙🚙🚙cheers again mate! Paul
@@PAADVENTURES1 we sure did! Got really bad weather on Monday’s walk, but by Tuesday it was improving. A wee bit of rain (although not enough to warrant a jacket), so on the whole a good day with cloud free summits.
Cracking adventure Paul mate !! Such a pity about the clag but it is what it is....u still made the most of it and knocked up some Miles !! Nice work mate . The Munro van looks class !! Take care mate enjoyed that ATB Simon
Cheers Simon...this is a great round of munros and normally the views are epic. I think the location of these hills mean that they get their fair share of inclement weather! A great day all the same and a new wee memory to enjoy! Cheers mate. Paul
Hey Paul, the Vanny McVanface is looking like it's a great addition to the journey. Looks a brilliant alternative to a tent after a hard day's walking. I feel I've not been out for ages (about three weeks) and this has spurred me on. Once this Jubilee weekend is away I'm definitely hitting the hills. Great stuff as always and looking forward to seeing your next outings.
Hi Brian! Yeah the van is coming along nicely! A wee bit of storage to add, some blinds and a couple of wee nic naks. Yeah it’s good to get out and I can’t wait for the weekend to come along for a new adventure. Hopefully after the busy weekend you will get out on a wee walk! Cheers again Brian. Paul
Cheers Bruce! Walking in the cloud certainly does feel serene and peaceful. I never saw many people all day so it felt like I was the last person in the world! Cheers again mate. Paul
I really appreciate your inane dribble mate :) This was v entertaining and I'm hoping the weather behaves and I can do these hills next week! 👍👍 Please keep posting as it is genuinely really appreciated!!
Thanks so much Michael! I am conscious that I waffle on a bit sometimes 😂😂. Yeah it’s a cracking route and unfortunately I never saw most of it! Next time… Hope you enjoy your day and get better views than me! Plus take a bike if you can! 😎😎😎
On specific content it was great to see spots where you include an OS map with detailed route. Many of us apart from enjoying the vid of the beautiful scenary are also studying utube videos for details of possible walks we might like to take on. Thanks for posting.
I also enjoy other people's videos and to see a location map for me is always beneficial. Hopefully this is a walk you could do yourself sometime! I would highly recommend it! Thanks again. Paul
Those are the kind of hikes that test your mettle. But they are also the ones that feel best to complete. Glad the skies opened up a wee bit for you there at the end. Your microphone sounded good considering the wind you were dealing with.
Cheers Seth...certainly a wee test of my nerve. I think walking alone when it's like that feels a bit more unnerving. All good in the end and glad I continued on. Yeah I use that rode wireless go mic and its pretty good in the wind! Cheers again. Paul
Van’s looking good Paul! We did the same walk back at the end of the eighties at New Year. Like you we walked in - it’s a long way back! Thanks for sharing!
Cheers Graham! It was so good not having to drive up in the morning. It's such a long way out! One of those walks where all I could think of was getting back to the van and throwing my boots off! What a day! Cheers again. Paul
Well done Paul. It can be a mental challenge battling through the negative thoughts and the type 2 fun to keep carrying on. Looked very similar to my recent hike length and time wise. Those long walks back are a killer! Not long now to the 141 mark! 👍🏴⛰
Cheers Andy! Yeah I had a wee talk to myself after the first Munro. Had to give myself a wee shake. Have you done another walk after the Fannichs? Paul
Hi Paul, another great video, certainly looked like a hard walk especially on your as well, at least with someone else you can spur each other on. The van looks great now and i love the bed, did you just copy the design of a rock n roller bed? See you soon 👍
Cheers Andy! It's good doing a wee solo walk but you're right...sometimes having someone else to chat too makes it that bit easier...I will send you a wee note about the bed! 👍👍thanks again mate. Paul
Well done getting through those 4 Paul. A tough day in the clag after a long drive up. I wish I had taken my bike for that last stretch too... The van is looking snug, much better than the tent on days like this. Gonna have to get myself one of those wee toastie pans for when I start doing over nights, it caught my eye in another of your recent vids. Cheers.
Cheers Andy. Found it a tough day! Enjoyable but tough. Yeah the van is coming on. Just building a wee unit the now for cooking and storage. Makes it quite comfortable for overnight trips and so convenient. The ridge monkey is great but get the bigger one! Mines is a bit small 🥴cheers mate. Paul
Another great video Paul, looked a tough day on the hills. Will definitely be taking the bike when I do these. Where did you get the pouch that holds your water filter bottle. Looks pretty robust bit of kit. Van looks top notch 👍
Thanks Euan. A toughie but great fun all the same. Yeah take the bike if you can...free wheeling all the way back will save you loads of time and I bet it feels magic! If you mean the dark grey thing? That's a rubberised bottle that the befree screws into. Really robust and folds down into nothing after use. If you want I will reply later with a link to where I got it? Paul

Hi Duncan! After looking at the footage it looks questionable! 🥴 to be honest the main enjoyment I get is simply from being out in the fresh air exploring the mountains. The views while amazing are secondary to the experience of being out. I had been reading and looking at loads of images of these hills and I was looking forward to seeing them for myself so maybe a wee tiny bit hard done by. Getting some clear skies at the end and watching the clouds roll by made it all worthwhile! So in short not really but it’s good to get a view🥴🥴👍👍. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comments and joining me on my wee adventure! All the best. Paul
