Man, I miss films like this. The music, the comedy, the action, the story telling. I’d give anything to go back and watch it as a kid again 😭
If they made it now day somebody would be gay or something! Nothing wrong with gay they just force it in everything
I shouldn’t really watch movies or listen to music I loved as a child because I already still live in the past and find it very hard to move into the future 🥹
@@davidgravell3132same bro wish I can relive my kid years. Wish there was a way to just rewind and re do things. But unfortunately we cant😢
@@JMK248 definitely re-do my teens a bit, but would leave my childhood untouched. If only I had known what the world would be like once I was an adult 😕
Same
27:01 “I’m Syndrome!”
Jane: “He’s Simba?!”
😂😂😂😂😂
This movie is actually set in 1960s. In the scene when Bob is reading newspaper while kids are fighting, the date on the news is 1962
It is kinda steampunk if you think abt it
But with a lot of anachronisms. Like the fourth-grade graduation ceremony - nobody did that in 1962. And the computer passwords, and the "remote" - nobody would have said, "remote" in 1962. And ceiling fire sprinklers in an ordinary house.
@@PhilBagels I think, this movie tries to say that supers have all these technological futuristic stuff in a 1960s timeline while average citizens might not have I guess. Even Syndrome’s gadgets and rocket boots were far from 60s
@@ellsay8987 It's not just the technology, it's the language and cultural elements that are out of place. No kid in the 60's would have said, "That was totally wicked!" They might have said, "That was wicked!" It was common youth slang starting in the 50's to say "wicked", but nobody said "totally" until the 80's.
@@vishnunair7623 Actually, it's retrofuturistic, as confirmed by Brad bird.
I'm a writer. I created superhero novels, and is thanks to Edna I don't give them capes 😂😂😂
do you mind sharing what you’ve created?!
I love Dash's laugh when he realizes he running on water.
I can't believe u edited out the "where is my super suit" dialog...that's classic part
I consider it the best superhero movie in my book. The comedy isn't forced, the action doesn't take priority over the plot, the cuts between shots are very well timed , the shots are creative, the relationship between the characters are realistic and mature, and the soundtrack is timeless.
Glad you both watch this movie it’s one of my favorite Pixar movies 🎥
Something I never quite connected until now, is the parallel between Mr Incredible's character arc, and Syndrome's. The fact that both of them similarly had moments where something important to them was ripped away, and both had the immediate response of becoming enraged and the temptation and opportunity to start killing over it. That's where their arcs split, Syndrome gave in to that, and Mr Incredible didn't. I think that scene more than anything demonstrated Mr Incredible's strength of character, with the added irony of Syndrome actively calling it out as a weakness in the moment.
“Fantastic mr fox?”
“Did he say Simba”
Jane is so funny lol
The guy that went missing in the cave is a hero named gazer beam, he went to the island and died, but he used his laser eyes to carve the word “KRONOS” on the wall of the cave so another hero can spot it eventually and stop syndrome, gazer beam knew that If he couldn’t stop syndrome’s plan someone else had to.
@21:14 “These balls, Justin These balls!”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is one of my favorite classics from my childhood luv that you guys are reacting to it 😀😀👌🏽💯💯
Same here
Jobs for Mr.Incredible? Body guard or bounty hunter for a bail bondsman are two that come to mind.
Don't forget to watch the short 'Jack Jack Attack' it fills in all the voids of what happens to the baby sitter.

One of the _best Pixar_ shorts. 😃
This period of Pixar was phenomenal, especially because they prioritized telling a story than sending a message, which isn’t necessary a bad thing, but it’s something that Pixar handled especially well when in its earlier years.
All their movies have a 'message'. I agree their later output wasnt necessarily up to par but if you think their ealier movies werent political or that sending a message and good storytelling are at odds you are just blind.
Like what do you think A Bug's Life is about???? Finding Nemo is literally (among other things) about critizicing helicopter parenting and letting kids act on their own volition when right now we have parents fighting for 'parents rights' whatever that means. Monster Inc is about resource explotation, Toy Story 2 is about consumerism, Toy Story (and the whole series in general) is about becoming adult and becoming old. Wall -E is blatantly about consumerism and climate change.
@@lobachevscki I agree with you. I’m not denying Pixar’s use of messages in their earlier films, I’m just saying that the message has seemingly been prioritized rather than the story itself. I do think that this began somewhat with WALL-E , where the message began to take a bigger role, but I personally think that Inside Out was the first movie for me where the message was clearly much more fleshed out than the story itself. This also bleeds into the idea on why I feel like most modern Pixar films feel more like shorts than full length movies. Especially with their newest movies like Soul, which clearly had a powerful message that the story simply didn’t compensate for.
@@dadaaxel3189 I believe Soul is a masterpiece, it doesnt need to be heavy on plot to be good, it was a way more experimental film. I think are coming from different directions and see why people feel the output has been subpar lately. I dont disagree with that idea but in my view it doesnt have to do with messaging. Thanks for answering.
"... and now his twinkle's in danger, too." 💀💀💀💀
She is funny 😂
@@cjjackson2423 It was so under the radar! I cried 🤣🤣🤣
I like the new thumbnails 👌🏾🔥
13:04 "His tum tum" lmaoo
“Hes simbaa” had me rolling 😂😂
22:52 When she said “do it” immediately reminded me of Palpatine😂
One thing that is actually really tragic and moving is how Edna mode hates capes and doesn't design them anymore because of all the accidents and deaths that occurred, she feels at fault because she designed these super suits and she feels responsible for the supers deaths, i cant imagine having the feeling of mutliple deaths on my shoulders. And since she truly loved Bob and his friendship she was being extremely clear about the no capes rule.😢
Just a bit off topic but im loving the new thumbnail templates
Awesome, thanks!
You guys have to cosplay Part 2, now.
One of my new favorite things about this movie that I never noticed before and never saw anyone else notice is that when Bob's boss is talking to him and he notices the mugging happen at the dumpster, color comes back into the scene, even just noticing something he can help with to be a "hero" again brings color to his office life
Such a great movie. I watched it in theaters back in 2004 when I was 10. Watch the second one after this.
you guys gotta check out the short of the baby sitter discovering jack jacks powers
Holy moly the quality is going up up every time I tune in.
I always liked how they didn't follow the usual trope with super Strong heroes where they are dumb and actually had Mr Incredible to have intelligence.
I haven’t even watched it but I know it’s amazing
Y'all are releasing so many amazing reactions! Love this channel!
5:37, "inconcievable" that you would know his voice 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Rewatching the Incredibles as an adult it really wasn’t a kids movie it was more for the adults that got stuck watching the movie with the kids
Yall going crazy somebody got a new camera setup I see yall
We up now!
Technically, Jack Jack has one power. He's a polymorph
The Incredibles' powers reflect who they are.
Jack-Jack is a baby, and babies have unlimited potential. They can be anything they want!
Dash is the little boy: Full of energy and desire, but undisciplined
Violet is the teenager: Insecure, feels invisible, tends to push people away from her
Helen is the Mother: Has to be flexible, multi-tasking, keeping the family together
Bob is the Father: Has to be strong, fearless, indestructible, the foundation.
@@Stogie2112 Perfect explanation, though I'd say Violet aims to make herself invisible due to insecurity, she doesn't feel invisible.
Nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. 👍
My wife and I bought a new construction house in 2017 that came standard with fire sprinklers. They were independent of the smoke detectors though .
What country?
@@SeeJaneGoTV USA. I live in Southern California.
No capes!
I look forward to the reaction of part 2.
I loooove that whenever Jane gets too scared, she goes “JUSTIIIIINNNNUHHH😭”
Watch the sequel. Director/writer Brad Bird made it even more appealing to people who waited 14 years for it. I think Incredibles 2 is the only animated movie to gross $1 billion
The Incredibles 2
Y'all need to watch
"She can probably sit for long periods of time and stand up without making any noise." 😂That is the most geriatric millennial statement... and I ressemble that remark. 😅
Jane will always say what everyone is thinking
I felt simultaneously called out and seen 😅
They actually have a movie where people with super powers work construction and stuff called code 8 one of those not known movies
This is my favorite Pixar movie, and 1 of my top 5 favorite animated films of all time. For DreamWorks my favorite movie is how to train your dragon followed by Kung fu panda 2
“get down” in the Arnold impression had my dying ☠️☠️
Today we learned someone has a fear of belly buttons. AKA Omphalophobia.
Well done that was…INCREDIBLE😏
The Incredibles is my favourite movie of all time apart from The Shawshank Redemption. Great video.
18:32 Notice something big here? There’s no Bomb Voyage in the flashback. Buddy has deliberately misremembered what happened, in order to justify himself.
You should for sure react to the DVD extras. Especially Jack jack attack. It explains what happened with the babysitter and why her calls for more and more frantic
You guys and Nikki & Steven are my all-time favourite reactors ❤ I never get tired of watching your videos! Love ya’s! Also, I live in Barrie so it’s cool knowing that you two are from Toronto- in the scheme of the whole world, we’re practically neighbours haha.
Dash and Violet was going to put on their seatbelts but their mom's manuevers happened so quickly they didn't make it in time.
I think the reason he doesnt do construction is BECAUSE it would be perfect for his powers and he doesnt need the temptation, like Magneto working at the factory in X-Men Apocalypse. Theres enough stigma around supers and legal policy supressing them, and if he starts pressing dump trucks it probably wouldnt work out well for them.
Incredible Movie!! Reaction ❤️🖤 love this movie 🙂
A-GREAT-film and one of the BEST super=hero movies ever.Such nostalgia film for me,this movie hit cinemas Oct-24-2004 and I couldn't see it because I was in Iraq at Camp TQ with a Texas Guard unit ( it was also an infantry unit )TQ was a living-HELL-too. LOL. I got to see this movie when it came out on dvd March-15-2005 tho, bought it at our military store on our base and LOVED it. Watching movies, listening to music and working out were nice distractions while being in a war-zone. SEMPER-FI
bob's boss voice actor was also the voice of rex from toy story
Awesome reaction of my favorite superhero movie!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Syndrome's base is on Nomanisan Island, which is actually a phrase if you look at it carefully. The well known voices are Craig T Nelson (Mr Incredible), Holly Hunter (Elastigirl), Samuel L Jackson (Frozone), Wallace Shawn (Inurance Co Boss). Edna Mode is supposedly based on Iris Apfel who died recently aged 102 & is voiced by the film's director Brad Bird. The ending of this leads directly into the sequel, in which Jack Jack shows his superpowers!!
Honestly there’s such a grit to this film that you don’t see in other ‘kids’ animations. The second movie is enjoyable, but it completely diverges from the original adult atmosphere. This ‘kids’ film covers crime, suicide, lawsuits, office jobs, propaganda, marriage troubles, suspected affairs, assault, torture, death, and just a bunch of stuff that you wouldn’t usually see. I loved it as a kid because it pushed the boundaries of what a kids film can be.
2:30 xD "My superpower? I can sit for hours then get up in total silence!"
Jane's voice matches Sarah Vowell's so well it threw me off. LOL!
The guy who sued at the beginning, I think he never wanted to off himself to begin with. If you want to die enough to jump off a skyscraper and you get a neck injury from the rescue, you don't walk into the courtroom as soon as you can, you make a second attempt.
i have to say, the glasses does makes the sir look nicer (not saying he's mean).. but he's seemed like a very serious person up until now
Bob could be a stunt man in movies, it worked for Wonder Man in Marvel Comics, or building demolition, he did it in this movie, and Colossus did in the X-men cartoon on Saturday mornings
12:53 Cat rescue! He's good at that!
15:55 TRAIN-ing Good One!
I would love to see your guys reaction the the incredibles 2 it’s sooooo good.
''Dash' first kill'' lmao
You have to watch Jack jack's short movie next
Awesome video
12:30 mission impossible vibes: "this message will self destruct in five seconds"
Have you watched Jack Jack Attack? It's a short which was released on the dvd and shows what happened at home with the babysitter 😅
Well, Mr. Incredible's power is super strength. Maybe he should work in the construction of buildings, but because as an office worker it was something fatal for him, he can no longer use his power.
I once heard about a theory about Edna Modas who was someone who helped the government to eliminate superheroes little by little without raising suspicions because if she knew that they were eliminating superheroes there would be no reason to continue creating costumes with capes for them, so at the same time Eliminate them in this way, there would be no investigations, since they would be "accidents", it is something dark but if we analyze it, it is intelligent and effective
27:01 “He’s Simba?” 😂😂😂
Jane watched Ghost Writer!!! No one believes me that show existed lol
Gotta watch the short film Jack Jack Attack, then watch The Incredibles 2.
Damn this movie came out a year before I was born😂
The Video Quality Is A Chefs Kiss 👌🏽
This one’s my favorite. Always has been
The puuuuuurrrrrrrrrfect movie for you 2 would be The Notebook‼️please I beg you both to watch this TOGETHER 😊🙏🏾
This is actually the 50s or something. I heard teachers will beat your children for imagined disobedience to maintain discipline in the old days. Name calling in front of mommy is Dash getting off lightly.
Ms Incredible, the internets fav thicc flexible super mom. lol. That was the biggest thing that came out of the movie it seems online. I mean, I can't disagree. ^_^
watch the short Jack Jack Attacks it's show what happen with the baby-sitter
2:30 A true superpower 😂
Nobody ever watches Jack-Jack Attack when reacting to The Incredibles. It shows what was happening with the babysitter and Jack-Jack and gives context to all the voice messages.
Unless it has some type of function or some safety feature to prevent mishaps, leave the cape at home. It's not very practical in dangerous situations.
Hope you watch Incredibles 2 soon lol, too soon, not soon enough.
What jobs would he be suitable in our world? Even if they discontinued the superhero stuff and somehow convinced the military to not use them, I can guarantee you that gold-topped mountain over there should be picked up as a babysitter for some VIP or something stupid. Having a guy that needs 5 roast chickens a day to not atrophy watch you, your family, or your assets is a great addition, most threats are deterred without violence.
I see you guys changed the lighting. It's almost too bright now LOL
none of our jobs are as cool as being a super hero.... bruh said "become a construction worker"-
The normies just reacted to this 🤣 🤣.
This movie is so good and the second one is so bad. XD
Anyway, this used to be 'the' superheroe movie for a very long time, before the genre was revived.
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.
Pro arm wrestler
Is it a chance we’ll get a Cars reaction for Jane first time watching as well?
I don't feel sorry for Syndrome at all. All Bob said was that he didn't need his help. Plus, he almost got a trainful of people killed.
Love
Can you guys watch Incredibles 2.
guys, have you not watched the UP cartoon movie?? how so, this is a very touching film. Please react to this film later
This movie has a big plot hole... why did the villains stop doing crime when the heroes where forced into hiding? That part makes no sense.
There is no mention of crime decreasing after the superheroes retired.
Bob and Lucius stopped that robbery when they were supposedly "bowling".
