  • Pat Onukwuli's article “Nigeria’s Oil Paradox and Quest for Refined Salvation” highlights the irony of Nigeria being Africa’s largest oil producer while still relying on imported refined petroleum products due to inadequate domestic refining capacity. This discussion examines the historical, infrastructural, and policy challenges that contribute to crippling fuel shortages and economic burdens. Oil and gas expert Femi Oladehin addresses critical questions regarding the impact of corruption on the sector, necessary policy reforms, and the potential effects of the Dangote refinery on Nigeria's oil landscape.
