Does this Nistune board work for an R33 GTR also?

      Straight from the Nistune website:
The factory R33 RB25DET ECU cannot be used with a Nistune board. You will need to source an R32 Skyline ECU (23710-04Uxx or 23710-11Uxx part number). VCT modification information here and then plugs straight in. Note: Series 2 there is no IACV (Air cond) output R32 ECUs so we recommend wiring IACV solenoid directly to the AC relay as Series 1. Auto transmission model R33 Skyline will require R32 AT controller.
You can also use a Z32 300ZX ECU but is not recommended.

Question. I have the same setup in my Skyline. Tach is dead. Getting over 8v, not the sub 5v for a signal. Have you experienced blown resistors in the tach signal?

I dont know how I just saw this, but no... I have not experienced that. If you havent fixed it yet then I would reach out to Matt at Nistune directly. He would be the go-to guy on the inner workings of the ECU.

Just curious how long has nistune been around? Also, i just ordered the Type 2 board for my car. How can i check the status of my order from the Nistune website?

NIStune has been around quite a while. I know in some of the documentation there are references back to 2005. I shot Matt at NIStune a message to find out when they first started their company.
We are actually a vendor/reseller of NIStune boards that also offers local tuning as well. If you purchased it from NIStune directly then you would need to log into your account and check your order status.
