Darkness Descends - Dark Angel 12. Pleasure To Kill - Kreator
You pretty much nailed it, but I slightly prefer Arise over Beneath the Remains. To me Arise is in my top 10 thrash albums ever (even including multiple albums by the same band).
I must admit man your list was a lot better than mine lol. When I was doing mine I totally forgot about Dark Angel and Annihilator! I actually got super pissed when I realized I forgot Dark Angel lol. I almost included Metal Church as well but most people don't really consider them a thrash band so I left them out. I definitely have to agree with you about Show No Mercy. Imo it is Slayer's best album and its my favorite Slayer album as well. But anyways, awesome video and list! Take care!
Haha thanks man! Your list was good though. We had a lot of similar bands. Yeah man I had to include those albums. Alice in Hell has some of the best riffing I've ever heard in thrash. So underrated. And yeah I was on the fence about including Metal Church, but I had to lol. As far as Slayer goes, I think Show No Mercy is always overlooked because Reign in Blood gets all the attention. But Show No Mercy was released in 1983, and I think it was pretty ahead of its time, even with all the Venom and NWOBHM influence. Such a killer album. But thanks man, take care as well!
Agent Steel's Skeptic's Apocalypse is an absolute must if you're looking for new suggestions. Only recently discovered it but more than worth the wait.
I respect the fact that you pick Master of Puppets as your favorite thrash album. Most people feel the need to pick something not as "mainstream", but you can't deny the fact that is pretty much the perfect thrash album. Also respect the fact that you actually paid money for all these and have the actual CDs. Awesome list brother!
