I have a quality time bucket and quantity time bucket haha. My quality time bucket gets filled by actively doing something together whereas my quantity time bucket gets filled by the sheer amount of time we spend together (i.e. doing different things but in the same room) ☺️

I have been with my husband for 15 years and I think it’s good to remember what constitutes quality time will always been changing with the different seasons of life and I highly suggest doesn’t putting on the schedule an activity for just the two of you like a new restaurant or movie a few weeks out is a good idea since it gives you both something to look forward to

I see quality time the same way as Remi, but my husband sees it as just being in the same room. When we plays video games and I'm in a different room, he'll come out and be like "you don't want to hang out with me?" even though I would just be on my computer in the room with him.

Quality time for me with my husband is intentional time! We are home most evenings together, but if we’re busy doing more work, on our phones, etc. Then it’s not quality time for me. Anything that has us intentionally creating space for us and growing our relationship deeper is what I think of quality time for me! But I think it’s also really important to go out on dates and get out of the house for quality time!
