I virtually failed German in college and really wanted to learn it because I have a half German heritage. But concluded like so many people do from standard language learning that I'm "language learning deficient" well, later I fell in love with Spanish in 2020 and from immersion and CI methods I'm now conversationally fluent (first tier fluency, not at all C2 yet or anything) with a highly intuitive accent.
German is like the language that got away and I'm completely sure I can become fluent with very little effort now. So thank you for such fantastic content! These methods WORK!

How long did it take for CI/immersion to work in your Spanish language journey? Like you, I "failed" German courses and classes (good grades, just could never retain anything beyond the classroom aside from basics), and after discovering that I was easily able to pick up Italian when I took a week long trip just from immersion/context, I decided I'd like to try German again (and possibly a few others).
