Honestly thank you for this. I think i've improved overtime but i've always found hooks way harder to write than versus so this is super helpful. Is there anyway to send you music to hear your personal opinion/advice on it? :)
I just seem to write relentless rhymes and no hook 🤣 started with drum n bass mc'ing and can't seem to escape it 😂🥁 would love some feedback good or bad on my delivery. Tons practice vids on my channel newer ones are better

Could you do a video on the triplet flow? I’ve been listening to a lot of Lord Infamous and the Migos and it sounds catchy and hard (the Three 6 Mafia versión)! Also, would you say that the Southern sound is underrated? To me it sounds dark, especially Evil Pimp!

I opened with it on the rap i made recently. (Also thanks for making these vids, i'd much rather learn from the experience of others than my own trial and error if i can help it.)
I think it would work perfectly for a an intro to the song before anything else, or even better as a bridge.between verses.either way I'd definitely record and mix it so it has a different sound so it sounds unique when compared with the verses or you actual hook. GL

My favorite chorus from this metal band called Slipknot ( song called Vermilion) and in the chorus, the lead singer says “I won’t let this build up inside of me” mf you’re right about that lmaoooo that’s awesome lmao thank you for sharing once again lmaoo always love watching these when I’m high asf lol.

It’s very rare if I don’t write the hook before the verses. Don’t purposely do it it’s just how the beat speaks to me.
