People will say its lack of education, but thats not all. Corruption has broken every aspect of the society. Morals, values, etc. In Islam cleanliness is half the faith, but obviously its not been preached or taken any notice of. A country made on the name of Islam, its probably showcasing the worst example.

I have been traveling a lot in Eastern Europe and after a nice evening with food and music in town I always walk home to the hotel or apartment
and many friends ask me as well if I am not scared walking alone in the middle of the night in eastern europe.
But I have never felt safer than in countries like Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
People are generally friendlier and want to offer you help or food because they hear that you aren't speaking their language and they have been brought up to treat guests with love and kindness.
I am from Sweden, where you basically can't go out at night alone in many cities anymore.
I have not gone out after 21:00 in about 10 years now.
Mafia, shootings, rape and lots of violence nowadays. :/
So traveling to countries where I feel safe is great for my mental health.
It clears my mind from stress and negativity.
I am glad you are showing the real Pakistan. This is NOT the picture they show us on the TV in Sweden.
They just show us pain and misery. It's sad how western media uses fear and lies for their own profit.

Here in my small US town there is nothing going on at night, on the streets, people are afraid to be out much past dark. I watch videos of many travelers and in so much of the world, cities and towns come alive after dark with street food, shops, markets, people strolling, talking, shopping, and yes having a hot tea, or milk, together on a chilly night...looks like such fun. How good it must feel to live that way. Thank you for posting, see you in the next one, all the best 🌸

Here in London...it's busy ..every moment is controlled by your bosses and laws. You can only drive this here if you pay this money etc..

The best part was stopping for food or warm milk in this case. I enjoy when you engage with the locals! And it looks safer then most of the larger U.S. cities.

Those streets reminded me of the street scenes in the movie Blade Runner. But instead of rain, you have smog. I am glad you showed how beautiful the people are and the friendliness of the locals. Excellent street level video, Karl !

when the sun comes up and glows through the smog...it's kinda beautiful over the Badshahi mosque but it's also depressing. I hope something can be done about the pollution

Where you had the milk, they have a Soda milk drink there which is pink. I saw it on Chris Lewis Chanel. But it's a cold drink. So you might not habe enjoyed ot as the war milk.
Also you should have the tandoori Chai. It looks so cool. Thx for sharing your walk. And I'm also so happy for you, that you could return home ro your family.
