I've never said this about any of the 100s of tiny homes I've seen, but I must say it now: This is the absolute best tiny home I've ever seen. So warm and homey - hard to do with white walls. And that garbage disposal...just WOW...how I would love to have that in my home. I can hardly wait to see what you folks do with the other semi. Truly amazing, this one is. Diane in NC
I love how he says he's not a builder and by the end of the video we've seen origami tables, Moroccan insets, a counterweight bed, hidden trash compartments, etc! He clearly had a passion and a creative mind that is well matched to a pride in workmanship and overall determination. Such an incredible space, its lovely! I've often thought of a tractor trailer due to ease of obtainability and I'm thrilled to actually see one having been completed; as I'd begun doubting its effectiveness. Clearly they can be built out quite efficiently and beautifully!
haha, yes not a builder thus it took 3 years to realise the dream 😂 I think with enough time, creativity and patience, anyone can put together their dream space. I have always liked to tinker and DIY, so that has probably helped. I come from a design background and my father was an architect, so maybe it's in my blood too. Thanks for watching!
I have considered the possibility of using a luton truck body as the foundation for a tiny home but not a trailer unit itself. I like! Takes living in a trailer home to a whole other level lol
Honestly, I was not expecting that outcome. It really is beautiful! I was totally blown away and surprised by the use of space. It was light and beautiful. I really appreciate the way the bed moved out of the way, so that the room could be used for other things. Great results! What a transformation!
These folks could sell blueprints. I watch a lot of tiny house videos, and this one absolutely takes the cake for beauty and functionality. Well done!!!!
@@oliverpigram7054 Hey Oliver, yes it can be hauled on the road like it originally was intended for. We just have to remove a few bits and pieces (awnings, anything jutting out) before it hits the road, plus ensure it is road-ready (tyre pressure, electrics and air brakes)
It's hard not to fall in love with the cleverness of this build. So many wonderful little features have been built into this home, some for function and others for beauty. What an amazing place that Heidi and Mike have created! Thanks so much for watching and supporting our channel! We hope you enjoy the video! With Love, Bryce & Rasa
Thanks again you fab pair 😊 So great to meet you especially as you are lovely folks. Another great video and thanks for taking the time to visit our corner of the world!
@@rdaalways2286 Thanks for the questions. We have moved this to its current location and had no problems. Over time the tyres will break down and need replacing and I’ll just have to keep an eye on air pressure lines and rust down the track. We have added supports and under the structure in case wheels are an issue, but doing some research with tyre and trucking companies leads me to believe the truck should be fine with its tyres on. If one day we can get our own property for it, we might take the wheels off
I am proud to say I am 70 now and in my far distant youth I remember going to a friend of my grandfather'. He and his wife lived in a converted rail car. They had built it into a home even in the early 60's. Cheers
I'm obsessed with the bathroom!! So serene and stunning. The counterweight bed is INSANE so smart. The only thing I don't like about this home is how high off the ground it is. But it does sound like the deck will help that a bit! Amazing home
Yes, definitely agree that the deck will change it a lot. We do love how much the height gives you a nice perch to look at the birds and enjoy the view. Plus we can hide stuff underneath 😀
Just WOW! For someone who's never designed a home before this, Mike has created something so thoughtful, functional, and magical. You'd think he'd been designing for years. A huge standing ovation to this couple. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
I think, given enough time, many people can craft something that works for them and looks good. My wife and I both come from design backgrounds and my father was an architect so maybe that helped! 😀 Thanks for your comments and feel free to follow more of our adventures @bigtinyadventure
Thank you Bryce/Rasa. Please tell Mike/Heidi that their home is beautiful and so well thought out. Impressive for a DIY project. Hope you (Bryce) revisit their home when the second one is finished.)
@@Kristenoyinbo the most straightforward way is to contact trucking companies in your area and ask them what they do with trailers that are ready to be retired. If they don't have any at that moment, you might be able to ask them to contact you when they have one. Depending on where you live, they can vary in cost, but a 30 year old trailer that is in reasonable condition shouldn't cost more than $10,000. In Australia, it is fairly easy to find a good trailer for $6000-8000. Otherwise, there are buy and sell websites and classified type ads for these sorts of things, particularly within commercial publications. If you know someone in your region that drives rigs, you can also ask them. Hope that helps!
This one of my favorite couples from your show. They are a very handsome couple. Love their energy, patience, communication, commitment to how they wanted to live life. Beautiful!

Thank you both for sharing your luxury space with us. By far one of my top 10! I hope we get to see a follow up when the second unit is added.
I love tiny homes and seeing all the creative builds, but honestly, this is one of my favorites. I know the interior size one of these trailers is, I've been inside several (people buy them for secure storage), but oh man, their house looks huge! I cannot believe how he designed such a beautiful and spacious home with that small footprint. Not only designed it, built it! He should be proud, that is incredible! And the white walls, they look beautiful! I'm not the biggest fan of most white walls, I know they can open a space up, but the way Mike utilized the white space? Chef's kiss!
The guy has never built before and this is the outcome!? He is beyond impressive. The house is more well thought out and designed and built than most places by professional property developers
By far the BEST design and styled home ever seen ... wow, each turn revealed some intricate detail or something genuis or personal or intimately clever. I'm all smiles at this insane and beautiful diy home. I want this exact design seriously 😊. Bravo 👏 you two.
Oh my word I would have to say this is by far one of my most favorite builds well done!!!! so magical , every inch feels so comfy and exceptionally well thought out and loved home. Thank you for sharing your home with all of us.
I've had this idea to build a tiny house on a semi trailer for past 2yrs. I even have a couple saved on my TradeMe watchlist. This video today gave me much excitement to see what can actually be achieved. Thank You Bryce and Rasa, another fabulous episode. Cheers from Hawkes Bay 💚🌏💚
definitely give it a go! We found that it really was up to how much you might be moving the trailer plus how much damage you were willing to contend with as to how much it was worth spending for it. For example, ours each cost about $5K but someone we know got a newer one for $10K and it had much less rust and was just cleaner all around. It looked nicer inside too but unless you are keeping some of the interior intact (ie. not covering it) that doesn't matter as much. Tip: just the ceiling and roof for damage as that was a critical thing for problems we had with ours
They're not only humble & very talented, but also warm and kind ❤ The message for Bryce & Rasa was so lovely. Beautiful, functional & smart home. Wishing the owners the best going forward!
Nearly! Though there are heaps of 8-10m long tiny houses these days. Bear in mind as well, ours doesn’t have loft spaces that add to the useable area. Thanks for watching!
Mind blown. If this couple doesn't go into semi-trailer tiny house design, that would be tragic. So many brilliant (and smart) features. LOVE the Moroccan-inspired vibe. Would love to hear about how they achieved the hand-rendered look of the feature walls. Wow, wow and WOW.
OMG! Mike soooo should be pleased with his own work, and be sooo proud of what he and Heidi have created! It's sooo beautiful! I love it soo soo much. What an absolute inspiration! ❤❤❤
This is a very unique and beautiful home!! The storage, the quirky things as the folding table, open arched shelves and a hideaway bed to change the space into a "formal" dining room is genius! Imagination, ingenuity and trial and error has made this couple a wonderful and beautiful home! Great job you two!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
I never thought of a semi trailer, but it's a great idea. This home is beautiful, I love the nod to Morocco, the textured walls and the raised bed. Just lovely.
@@bigtinyadventure Hi there! Just had a bit of a question cause Im curious...Do the cables bother you when you sleep of get out of bed? Maybe Im a messy sleeper but I feel like they would get in the way so much hahaha
@@Ariplaygames so far they haven't been a problem really. I think literally in the first week I kept "cutting the corner" as I got up at night and would whack into the cable. But after that I have never done it since. When I lean a pillow back against the wall when I'm reading, sometimes the cable can get in the way but I can just shift over slightly and its fine. It's only really an issue with making the bed where there is pressure along the edge of the mattress which makes it a bit more challenging with the wire tension. If I'd thought of this and made the bedroom a wee bit longer, then the bed frame could have sat away from the mattress and there would be less issue
I love it when Bryce acknowledges what the guests are saying. Sometimes sometimes you jump into the next question without acknowledging their comments.
They are naturally bigger from a tiny house perspective but what surprised me is how confined they feel without windows. The one we lived in while building this one felt much narrower despite being the exact same proportions, simply because it had no side windows
me being a Moroccan Australian from Adelaide i love this tiny house with the Moroccan touch It's so homey and relaxing. ❤ ❤❤. thanks Bryce for showing us this gem
That's great! Interesting solution with the bed on ropes and the separating rubbish chute. It's nice to see such creative solutions and happy people who have realised their ideas.
It's incredibly creative and I LOVE the result. They are an amazing couple. I would say she is especially amazing living in an outdoor tent as a working professional, with computer equipment and gear. That woman is a saint! If I had to design, produce and deliver on a tight schedule living in a tent, an uncomfortable working environment without the right tools I would have lasted about 2 days at best! However, their hard work has produced a magnificent result. this is my all-time fave of every 'Tiny' I've ever seen. The result is spectacular. They make a great team.
I appreciate your understanding - you must be in a very similar industry ☺️. I didn’t last too long in the tents… the increasing heat and strong light made it difficult. It truly makes you appreciate four basic walls and a roof though. And then the final house - well it felt like moving into absolute luxury! 😊
Oh, I REALLY loved this one! It doesn't even have the feel of a tiny home with the usual lack of storage (not even including the second semi). Great job!
Thanks for that! Yes you're right, the extra storage was mostly long-term or bulk food stuff and always just going to go in a shed or something. We weren't going to keep the second trailer initially. So the main house had to have enough storage to be viable and practical.
Being humble is good to an extent but if you have made something as great as this it is complete understandable to be happy with your achievement :) great build!
his is actually one of the most clever builds out there. 👏👏👏 Having watched plenty of tiny homes, this one probably takes the cake. You don't have to crawl to your bed, everything just seems to be in place. The addition of a deck would definitely make this SOOO much better plus the connection to the other trailer. You could have the other trailer for your kid/s and just have a secure and safe connection/transition between the two semis.
The deck is definitely on its way. I was reluctant to have it filmed without that part done yet but I’m glad there has been a positive response to our home regardless. Thanks for watching 😊
We're very happy yall decided to allow us to have a look w/ out the deck installed! No worries We're Creative so we can envision it in place lol Marvelous Build indeed! I'm blown away! I'll look at semi's differently now for sure!!😁👏🏾💯
I really like this trailer home! The clever use of colour makes the home spacious and interesting. The raised floor is a brilliant idea for storage and separating zones. The elevating bed is a great idea for utilizing space. What really amazes me is that when you see the basic trailer pre conversion it looks quite narrow inside but after conversion it looks wider.
Wow! So much is clever and well thought out! 3 Years was worth it. No need to worry about humility. It is still a humble abode AND it is ok to feel great about creating it yourself from scratch! Well done! I especially love the raisable bed! 😊
It helps to have two creatives working on the home! When someone has a good eye for decor and use of space etc, it turns a plain old rectangle into a beauty of home. This is one of the first homes I've seen that I could see myself living in! Bryce's outro was perfect- reminding us that it took three years to attain this result. That's a lot of time to add those wow moments in every room you walk through! I wish this couple all the best and that the second build is a bit easier on them because they now have some experience behind them!
My jaw dropped when they stepped inside ! Amazing! Also love that the bathroom is not off the kitchen 👏👏👏👏👏 This is so well thought out, I could move in tomorrow!
This guy is SO awesome. Capable, competent, and creative. And! Finally a washer (and hopefully dryer). May I never see another tiny house without them.
Agree completely. The guy is wonderfully creative, and she's a delight as well. Together they are the coolest couple. But the HOUSE! Wow, I mean just wow!
I love how no matter what video of this channel you click there’s someone in the comments saying that THAT particular construction is their ideal home, is so sweet and wholesome❤
🤯 Absolutely love this!! Every detail is amazing! I am so impressed by all of it but as someone else who hates to take out the garbage their garbage disposal was my favorite 😂💞
That was a must-have when I first designed the plan! I think Heidi thought I was crazy for putting so much effort into one thing but I think she sees now 😅
I love the practicality and spaciousness of the house. The bed and that trash chute are ingenious. The chute idea is a must for tiny houses. I really liked the concept. Wishing the best to this couple. Thank you Rasa and Bryce for finding and sharing these gems. 💖
OMBG!!!!! Bryce this is by far the BEST BRILLIANT GORGEOUS BEAUTIFUL tiny home I have ever seen and I’ve seen 1000’s! My goodness, HATS OFF to Heidi & Mike!!
One of my very favorite "tiny" homes! Lovely, clever, interesting and functional layout combined with out-of-this-world and beautiful design. Please, please, please visit them again when the deck and the second semi are completed!
I have watched hundreds of tiny home video builds and this is by far, my favorite! 2 very creative people coming up with amazing storage and living solutions. Well done!
IN AW WITH THIS HOME. IT'S BEAUTIFUL. WHILE MINE WILL STILL REQUIRE A BATH/SHOWER COMBO. THIS IS VERY COZY. WITH S MIXED MODERN FEEL. I LOVE THAT THE SPACE/STORAGE IS OPTIMIZED.
Amazing! More expensive than I would have imagined for such a tiny place and DIY, but what a high-quality outcome! For a first time builder it's an incredible outcome.
Love it! The colors, Moroccan flair, and that bed! Getting the absolute most out of the space. The deck is going to make it even more incredible. Wish I could visit! Regards from Indiana!
OMG I am in love with that bed system! I was just thinking about my own tiny home build last night and contemplating why we don't see more ceiling storage in tiny homes, this is brilliant! Definitely inspired. Thanks for the video!
I've seen other tiny homes that were built on truck trailers and wasn't really sold, but this is beautiful and very cleverly and thoughtfully designed. Gorgeous. 👍
This build is - hands down - the most creative, well thought out, and comfortable tiny house I've ever seen! Wow! I am just so impressed by the unique aspects of this home that are tailored to this couple's lifestyle! The layout, natural finishes, moroccan touches, built in office, garbage chutes, alternative function of the bedroom...! Just wow! What an amazing job they both did! Bravo!!
What a clever tiny house, one of my personal favourites for sure! The bathroom is just lovely, it certainly has this "holidaying somewhere in the Middle East" vibe, so cool ^^
Each week, just when you think tiny designs cant get any better.............and for someone who has never built? Well done Mike and Heidi! Be so proud! Great use of a trailer that would be otherwise discarded . Giving me even more ideas . Thanks again for bringing to us Bryce and Rasa.
Wow! I love love love this home. From the outside, you’d never imagine just how amazing the interior is. Kudos to this couple, Heidi and Mike,on a job so well done!

I would never have thought you would have been able to create one of the most beautiful, creative, and stunning homes I think I ever seen from a trailer. I just adore all the design elements you’ve incorporated with the arches and rendering, as well as the amazing storage, and that bathroom !!!!!! wow. Many congratulations to you both, and wishing you many, many happy, healthy years living in this little piece of paradise. ❤️🏴❤️
The combination of that bed that can be lifted without applying much force but also without motors, and the fact that it is supported by 4 small stools....Add to this the table... Briljant!
Great re-use of a giant piece of industrial waste (two actually!), so beautiful as well. The Moroccan touches are beautiful and the kitchen is marvelous.
That bed!! Extraordinary idea in a tiny home. It's like you're temporarily converting the full trailer space into a pure entertainment area. Would love to see it with the deck space completed. Well done 🎉

OMG! Mike soooo should be pleased with his own work, and be sooo proud of what he and Heidi have created! It's sooo beautiful! I love it soo soo much. What an absolute inspiration! ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for your kind comments! 😀😀😀
Guy isn’t a builder, but he’s got tons of natural talent!
The first tiny house I've seen with a separate toilet space. Very clever design throughout.
Well! That counterbalanced bed idea is genius. It opens up so much floor space! Thank you Bryce, Mike & Heidi (and Rasa behind the camera)!
It was a bit of a mad idea but glad it actually came together 😅 Thanks for watching :)
@@bigtinyadventure I see! Thank you for answering!
This is awesome, and I love the fact that it's on Wheels.
There is so much difference in comparison to a shipping container.
Beautifully decorated.❤
I love it when Bryce acknowledges what the guests are saying. Sometimes sometimes you jump into the next question without acknowledging their comments.
This is so amazing. Ditto on everyone’s comments.
He should really go into the business of building custom tiny homes. ❤
I had no idea a semi-trailer could be so huge inside
They can and if you have a imagination you can do anything
My thoughts exactly Wow!😮😁👏🏾👏🏾
I agree.I thought that the way they did their build only made it look like more space added.Great build 👍👍
❤ ❤❤. thanks Bryce for showing us this gem
the design aesthetic these two have is pretty amazing!
Thanks for that! We both have a design background and my father was an architect so maybe that contributed to the look 😛 Thanks for watching!
That's great! Interesting solution with the bed on ropes and the separating rubbish chute. It's nice to see such creative solutions and happy people who have realised their ideas.
Wow. I’ve watched every Bryce video, but this place is unbelievable. I love it and I want one! Well done to the couple who created this. Amazing!
I love the way they built in trash disposal, the bed mechanism to make the space a true multitasker - incredible. So creative
Being humble is good to an extent but if you have made something as great as this it is complete understandable to be happy with your achievement :) great build!
THE CONSEQUENCES.
WHEN WE SEE THE END THE JOURNEY IS DELIGHTFUL.
MERCY AND TRUTH AT WORK.
PROVERBS 20.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
his is actually one of the most clever builds out there. 👏👏👏
Having watched plenty of tiny homes, this one probably takes the cake.
@@bigtinyadventure Would love another tour after you do the deck and the other trailer. You really did a fantastic job.
@@TamarLitvotyes yes yes
Beautiful couple, beautiful home!! Kudos to Mike for talking about mental health. Inner peace is everything! 👍😎🇨🇦💫🙏
I've never seen a more stylish tiny home!!!! The features in each part of the home are very unique!! Love this home! Thanks Bryce and Rasha!!!
Thanks for your comment and for watching 😊
It's a home to die for.. ot one to fall in love with. Just fab!
I wish this couple all the best and that the second build is a bit easier on them because they now have some experience behind them!
it doesn't look like a first build! it's so lovely. i hope we get to see the second trailer when it's done hehe😍😍
The design level is off the charts .. I can't wait to see how they put the decks and second space together!
Agree! Hope to see this featured again when all is completed.
Kudos to you Mike, you're so skilled! And to you Heidi for supporting you both. And to you as a couple, enjoy your new sanctuary!
My jaw dropped when they stepped inside ! Amazing! Also love that the bathroom is not off the kitchen 👏👏👏👏👏
This is so well thought out, I could move in tomorrow!
That worktable-cabinet. I'm going to steal that.
That idea had just saved me 1,000s.
Probably they have a washer/ dryer combo.
I think Heidi thought I was crazy for putting so much effort into one thing but I think she sees now 😅
Me too💯❤❤👏🏾👏🏾😁 Fabulous Idea!!
Stunning tiny home, fantastic idea to use a trailer that’s already insulated, that certainly saved time and money x 🇬🇧
I love the practicality and spaciousness of the house. The bed and that trash chute are ingenious. The chute idea is a must for tiny houses. I really liked the concept. Wishing the best to this couple. Thank you Rasa and Bryce for finding and sharing these gems. 💖
I reckon garbage chutes are a must for all types of houses! 😀 Thanks so much for your comments and for watching the video!
That bed and the foldout table! This guy said he wasn't a builder, yet he's so creative andctalented!
I have watched hundreds of tiny home video builds and this is by far, my favorite! 2 very creative people coming up with amazing storage and living solutions. Well done!
Thanks for watching! We’re proud of the home but overwhelmed by the lovely responses here. Thanks for your kind words😊
IN AW WITH THIS HOME. IT'S BEAUTIFUL. WHILE MINE WILL STILL REQUIRE A BATH/SHOWER COMBO. THIS IS VERY COZY. WITH S MIXED MODERN FEEL. I LOVE THAT THE SPACE/STORAGE IS OPTIMIZED.
I am awed by this amazing build. I had NO idea that a semi-trailer could be turned into a work of art. Just amazing.
This is hands down MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE tiny house. Amazing!!! So beautiful, so warm, so welcoming!! 😍 I'm in love!
Amazing! More expensive than I would have imagined for such a tiny place and DIY, but what a high-quality outcome! For a first time builder it's an incredible outcome.
Tiny houses just get better and better. I think my favourite design so far
Thanks for the video!
thanks so much for your comments!
I've seen other tiny homes that were built on truck trailers and wasn't really sold, but this is beautiful and very cleverly and thoughtfully designed. Gorgeous. 👍
This is so beautiful i love the fact that they dont have to crawl in the bedroom which is typical of most tiny homes. This is my favourite.
I agree! This was a big reason for the way we did our bedroom and also not building in the style with a loft. Thanks for watching! 😊🙏
This is definitely one of my favorite homes. I love their style of decorating! 😊
Wow! I love love love this home. From the outside, you’d never imagine just how amazing the interior is. Kudos to this couple, Heidi and Mike,on a job so well done!
What a beautifully, thoughtfully built home, that actually looks and has the feel of a HOME, not just a cleverly-designed house. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks so much for your kind comments and for watching the video! You make us blush!
The combination of that bed that can be lifted without applying much force but also without motors, and the fact that it is supported by 4 small stools....Add to this the table... Briljant!
Glad you like the design! The stools are actually storage too 🙂
Great re-use of a giant piece of industrial waste (two actually!), so beautiful as well. The Moroccan touches are beautiful and the kitchen is marvelous.
That bed!! Extraordinary idea in a tiny home. It's like you're temporarily converting the full trailer space into a pure entertainment area. Would love to see it with the deck space completed. Well done 🎉
Thanks so much! Yes, we just used it last night for entertaining guests and you’d never know you are sitting in the bedroom 😅
Blown away by the design. Best one story I’ve seen.
I have been watching tiny homes for many years. I have to say i have never seen anything like this home before. The home looks so spacious. The storage is fantastic, that bed is amazing. Loved everything about this home. You two are so creative and have a beautiful home.
Thanks so much for your kind words!
Great job and beautiful. This home has zoomed to the top of my list of Best. That recycle & garbage method oughta become a built-in for homes everywhere. Best wishes for all good things.
Thanks so much Emma! I agree re: the garbage chutes...every house should have them 😂 Thanks for watching
Love the clever idea with the bed. Only makes sense ❤
