they're starting to run out of good character ideas. they nerfed most of the older skylanders in Imaginators. it's probably not coming back until they revive the old stats, make better characters, and go back to the classic gameplay without all of the digital microtransactions.
It's been 5 years since my favorite Skylanders game... wow I remember the day that this trailer first came out and they did a whole 30 minute presentation in NY where they showed the boss against the Chompy Mage, which made him the only villain at the time to appear more than once other than Kaos. I love the first 4 Skylanders games but the franchise went downhill after that imo. I didn't like Superchargers that much, and while Imaginators was a good game it was still a step down from what has come before. I miss Skylanders, I'm glad that they stopped when they did so it didn't become the new COD but I still miss the days of walking into Target and Toys R Us and getting the figures or looking at them. It was a great time but I'm glad that I was alive to experience it. I hope Activision remasters a game or reboots the franchise in 2021 for the 10th anniversary. - Bill Dozer 2019

So it's easy to just casually collect them if you wanted to as opposed to the other games where the figures were required to play the game and unlock certain things. Such as the elemental gates in Skylanders, the playsets in Disney Infinity, and the level packs in LEGO Dimensions.
It’s 2021 now. This game series really was my childhood. I remember my parents rewarding us when we did good on our report cards for school and would take us to this small game shop. Skylanders we’re lined up on the shelves and my only concern in the whole world was picking the coolest one. Oh how badly do I want to go back to those times.

Kaos has been in my trap for the 7 years alongside others. I like to think hes screaming for help inside and has gone completely insane while in there.
I have a few things to say about this video... 1) This video makes me want to go home despite the fact that I'm in my house 2) My goal is to cry less, My challenge is this video and 3) It has been 8 years... 8! FREAKING! YEARS! I was just a child when I first played STT, watching the series grow and die has been something else
Even looking back at this game now... it's still holds up very well. In fact, it's my favorite game in the series. There's the trapable villains, the Kaos challenge mode, the song mode, Skystones returns from Giants, but in a brand new format, you can play as Kaos, the Trapmasters, the final Boss, the music, the fact the lifting boulder mechanic from Giants was brought back, the story, and much more. The only thing I didn't like about the game was the fact the Elemental zones now would only open to Trapmasters of that same element. While, some could be bypassed with Hoodsickle, most couldn't. And since I only have Snap Shot, Wallop, Blastermind, Kaboom, and Tuff Luck, that meant I couldn't access the areas, therefore meaning that I could never 100% the game. Other than that, my favorite in the series.
that was one of the cutest and coolest game trailer i have ever seen. I especially liked the part where the skylanders were talking to the kids now that was just down right adorable. It would be pretty cool if that actually was in the game, you could probably imagine what they would say.

I also am looking into Wolfgang who is coming to imagainators and a few other old skylanders. However I'm going step by step. First I'm going to get the starter pack for imaginations on xbox one and see if i can make a deal with my local game store to have Crash thrown in there (cause i don't want to wait a month or more for a single pack release) and then from there start with snapshot who i found at a good price. This Game from 2014 gives me a lot of memories and I am at High School now and I will always remember the skylanders franchise

This just poped up made me nostalgic now i wana play throw all the games but i cant all my skylanders are at my parents house and they live in another Country so it wouldnt have to wait till next year to go pick them up.
