Citroen 2cv6 1980 restoration project

This car is my first car and what a process it has been to get it looking like a new car. Almost everything is new, the goal was to make it better than new. I wanted to prevent rust as much as possible. Everything like new stainless steel exhaust to bolts & washers, chassi and body shell and brake lines was either galvanized , stainless steel, copper or had some anti rust treatment, just to prevent rust from happening. Then I it sealed off with a good and strong industrial epoxy black paint underneath body shell that is rust resistant. 90% of the wiring is brand new and it is equipped with a master switch ofc. Overall this project has been very inspiring for me and I hope it will give you some inspiration for your project. Good luck!!

Very inspirational , I'm writing this with tears in my eyes. You have done your father proud. I love the bond between the family formed in part around the car. It was a marvelous idea that your father had for you and your sister to travel together. As you know you had a great and wise father. I can imagine how you feel, i bought myself a Dyane (Like the first car of my parents, when i was a kid) in 20, the Plan was to do the Restauration under assistance of my Dad, but in 21 he also passed away😢. It took me time to get sortet but last Winter i startet the Restauration in loving Memory. I hope that i can go on Hollydays with it in the Autum😅.
