That is a topic that I want to get to, I'm still debating how to approach it to be honest. The nail has different curves, some natural and some that we can shape. I believe there is a preferable or maybe even "ideal" nail shape that can be applied on most angles of attack but not everyone's nail are shaped naturally the same.

This was another fantastic video, David! I always look forward to your new releases. About an arm sleave, I've used "the sock method" for years and have no intention of using anything else. One advantage of a sock is the natural angle created at the heal of the sock. That bends around the elbow perfectly. Keep up the great work!

Talk about the use of the little finger. Im on a master degree and my research is about the feasibility of the little finger of the right hand. We know that other musician like pianists use usually, but on guitar its rare. I have developed the use of this finger and the results are going very well and musical. I'd like to see your point about this. Your channel its very necessary.
small nitpick, technically something resting on a table isnt a clamp. something thats just on a table doesn't move because the normal force of the table is equal to and in the opposite direction of the force from gravity, so all of its forces balance out. on the other hand, clamps work with friction instead of normal force; if you clamp something like shown at 0:55, the object is not moving because the force of gravity is balanced by the force of friction with the sides of the clamp. in other words, something resting on a table only has 2 forces on it: gravity and the force from the table, while something in a clamp has many more forces: gravity, 2 friction forces, and 2 forces from the clamps. The quality of this work is insane! What can you say about holding guitar on right leg like alot of fingerstyle guitarists do now? Is it doable with some adjustments? I play fingerstyle on steel string and i have dilemma if i should swap to this classical position. I got kinda used to holding it on right leg.
Thank you!! It really depends on the level of polyphony that you are trying to produce on the guitar. And even if you are trying to play arpeggios over this chord : (5) Open A , (4) E with finger1, (3) C with finger 4 , (2) Open, (1) G with finger 2 , you will significantly minimize the strain on your wrist and shoulder if the guitar neck is tilted upwards.

However, I feel like the flamenco position puts more stress on my left hand when playing the upper frets. I would love to see a small video about your opinion between different positions and why they emerged.
What I miss a bit is the explanation about the angle of the supporting leg with relation to the symmetry plane going through our body. Projecting from the top of the head to the floor, this determines how the guitar is angled in relation to the chest. Should the guitar be parallel to the chest? To me, it feels more comfortable, if the neck is put more forward. This requires the supporting left to be angled towards the other leg, even crossing the symmetry plane mentioned. This doesn't look right, neither feels best in the hip, but feels good for hands. Are my observations correct, and it is some kind of compromise?
Thank you for the great question! Is your right arm comfortable with a mobile contact point between the forearm and the binding edge or does you prefer to keep the elbow on the edge instead? From a lateral perspective, if the right shoulder is relaxed, as opposed to extended forward, the right arm should meet the binding edge at 45sh degrees from the sides and soundboard. This will require the wrist to flex increasing the distance between the wrist and the soundboard. You may find yourself breaking the symmetry, as you describe, if your shoulders are not relaxed and your forearm is trying to be more parallel to the soundboard and the wrist closer to the soundboard.

What about keeping the left foot on the floor and switch from a footstool to a model like ErgoPlay or Guitar Lift?
