Yes. During the Les Harvey spot.It was such a tragedy. It deserved being talked about. I'm a musician and a Darrel fan & still can't forget the day my husband informed me off what happened. I just felt numb. I couldn't imagine how someone could be so phased about their favorite band breaking up that they could take the life of someone who's music and talents brought joy. And his own brother having to witness it just hurt and made me cry for days. My brother was my bass player, my husband my drummer& my best friend my singer. Just couldn't begin to fathom what they witnessed and the pain they felt. I couldn't go on if it happened to the people I loved and my fans were caught in that horrific moment. Darryl will always be in our heart's and if thier is a God and heaven at least we know Dime is kicking ass in the best ham band ever. His drummers Jon Bonham & Keith Moon, Cliff Burton and Eintwhistle trading off on bass, Hendrix, Rhoades,SRV, Chuck Shuldiner trading leads & Bon Scott,Ronnie James Dio,Layne Staley singing thier asses off & Jon Lord plus Prince rounding it out for keyboards. And Prince the band composer/leader that man could also shred a guitar riff like no ones buisness. Daryl and these others have me looking forward to see the best jam band ever when I pass. To bad they left us so soon in horrible ways but they left us with graet music and memories. Gone but never forgotten.Forever in our heart's and forever with our respect and love. God rest your souls.
